FalconCam 2023-08-23 2nd egg and Xavier's arrival to greet it.

Diamond lays her second egg after a 59 hour laying interval (average is 61 hours here)....she incubates for a short time, then Xavier arrives with (yet another) starling and she must be hungry as she leaves the eggs in Xavier's care and take off.

Amazing view of the arrival of egg #2. Doesn't get much better than that. And yeah, Diamond really must have been hungry after that ordeal. She grabbed what was left of that starling with surprising enthusiasm. Will we get three eggs in 2023? Here's hoping.

🇭🇲 Wonderful news about the laying of the second egg! Diamond hungry and Xavier more than happy to
'watch over' their beautiful eggs 🥚🥚 while Diamond decides to 'dine out'. Hopefully a third egg 🥚 will be laid in a few days! If not - so be it! Although - time ⏳ will tell.
