I love that this is a full work session unedited. Lots of instructional videos just show the good shots. This is more helpful seeing the imperfect ones and Chef's advice/coaching.

Jason Day is one of the best in the world at bunker shots. Jason gets down real low in the sand no matter what degree his wedge is.

Great instruction piece. Off 4 a few years ago, I've blown out to 10 with life pressures. However, I had almost totally forgotten my bunker play principles and have been struggling. Now trying to get back below 5, this will be a very useful part of that journey! Many thanks and cheers from Sydney - Dave

This is great. Love this content. I have tried working on this technique many times but I continue to either (skull/shank them hard right OR leave them fat and in the trap). Argh.

Hi I’m new to your channel and have already implemented the simple bump and run v good and simple .
We in England have terrible bunkers inconsistent sand depth and quality . Lies sometimes horrendous from poor raking any “simple ideas”
    Thanks

I noticed he is gripping down the club is this also part of the set up?

Should you be gripping down in the grip in a bunker?

Having beautiful sand, instead of concrete or construction sand, helps a lot...

54° seems like it's not enough loft. Most players are using at least a 56° if not a 60° loft

An open 54 gets me out of most anything, unless I'm more than waist-deep in a trap

I used to think that, then I saw a scratch golfer putt out of a bunker once, at which point it was open season.
