    I am feeling nowadays the same freedom we had in the 80´s. It´s needed to every generation to be able to create and wear without limitations. I have this 80´s mind since always and now I am having my blast again, wearing all my saved originals.

    Hey Reggie, I love how you always show the name brands along with the pictures so we can know where to get stuff. Please tell me the brand of white boot with the black rand, that is at 8:41. Thanks

    I've been a major fan of japanese fashion since I heard about buyee from your channel years ago. It is cheaper for me and fit me better than western brands. I recently went to Japan for the first time and loved it there. Some highlight stores for me were Beams plus, Okura, studio d artisan, Iron Heart, Beams F, Tomorrowland and united arrows

    functional fashion will just be another trend. my idea of functional is all my acronym clothing. all my pants, goretex jackets, primaloft insulators, and more require some care to get the most of their designed function. there are things that are simple and require no maintenance like great articulation darts and clever folds/stitching to move with the wearer. but im not sure if it’s something the average person notices or even cares about.

    OK, I am living in Scotland, I am wearing a fair bit of CMF, Comfy Outdoor Garments, Snow peak and adjacent brands. and getting a "Elderly Japanese Angler"vibe getting lots of fits off lots of earth colours and bright hoodies flashes in footwear and accessories. "This thing of ours" does that Japanese outdoor style really well in the UK, all this stuff filters down a more savvy punter. Gazing at the high fashion students in New York is always missing the point.
    And wrapped garments for the bottom half of men is something that Scottish peeps heve been doing for quite a bit, the kilt is quite traditional but you have shown two dudes wearing a Kilt lIke garment, but wearing it the wrong way round. The pleats go at the back!

    Why was there a reupload?

    • @spannertechXXI
      @spannertechXXI 6 месяцев назад +4

      Likely because some shots were glitching out and some b-roll clips weren't included in the final upload. Still got some artifacts/glitches, but at least the b-roll is there instead of a plain backdrop.

    8:47 Do you think the lust for luxury is waning? Has the world had enough of lvmh?

    • @adrianveidt4344
      @adrianveidt4344 6 месяцев назад +2

      LVMH and other luxury designers won't die out anytime soon, but arguably the era of big brand flexing (be it Supreme or LV) is dying out for the modern fashion enthusiast. Minimalism is sorta on the rise, and the popular wave of thrifting is probably a response to push for sustainable fashion plus the absurd economic reality that millenials and gen z face, which gives less of a priority in interest for designer brands.

    i don’t think anyone cares about genderless fashion. Ice cold take but to fashion people it’s not that obvious.
