If they turtle with Thor Mine Tank and push when they are maxed while you are still on lingbanemuta it is very hard, so i wouldn't necessarily suggest this vs mech even though it is playable.

Small question: aren't vipers also really good in this composition to be able to deal better with the Thor's?

No they aren't, not sure if you meant infestors maybe, which also wouldn't be the case since they are too slow and don't really synergize well with the way you use the army. If you actually meant vipers, they don't do anything to counteract the thors, are easy to snipe and very expensive in both supply and cost.
