I had never commented on any RUclips videos before until you, Erwan featured my beautiful hometown. Thank you, I'm glad you like our city. Please come more often and do more food crawl.
When I was young, I only knew Marikina as a great shoemaker. I had no idea that they got great foods. Time flies, and generation changed. Thanks for sharing, and take care.
Marikina is a haven for food lovers, for every other street there is a spot with food to eat.
Its so effing delicious to stay there, gained lots of kilograms and I don't regret it one bit!
I will keep eating and eating and enjoying Marikina's food establishments
Ok that's it, I'm coming here lol. I'm originally raised and born in Marikina and have lived in the states for 15 years and coming back on July 2018. Love your video and is the best video! brings back memories thanks!
Hi I'm 13 yrs old 😊 I love watching your videos you explain the foods very well God bless you ❤👍
So many good restos like Cafe Lidia, Rustic Mornings, Fino Deli (wine bar) etc.. But you still did great featuring the all time faves here. 👍
Really appreciate that there’s now a nice decent video like this about my hometown that i can easily pull up online and show to people new to PH 👌🏼 these are places i grew up in!!! ❤️
Now you are more connected to your viewers, well atleast that's how I felt while watching this. Keep them coming Erwan!
Thats my hometown! Thanks for featuring in your channel...brings back so much great memories. This video makes me want to go home 😀 might be a good idea to know some home grown marikina original dishes like “everlasting” a twist to your embutido but much better! Thanks again!
Thanks 4 checking out places we can/should visit ... More power 2 u, this channel & ur Mrs. ☺
Thanks for visiting my hometown Marikina...pls come back coz there’s a lot more food the city could offer 🙂...
I love the way your videos are now! It's like watching from a TV show.
Watching your video first thing in the morning before I take my comprehensive for US-NCLEX. Great job Chef Erwan!
I love how you showcase food from different parts of manila... i didn’t know marikina has a lot of delicious food to offer. Thanks! Beautiful content allll the time!
So timely naman kung kailan pauwi na ako uli ng pinas (i live in marikina) soon at naglilista na ng mga kakainin at kakainan chaka ko napanood 'to 🤣 pero true enough, few years ago nagsimula talaga dumami bigla ang mga kainan sa marikina .. soooo much more to explore, hope you'll come back!
Marikina is very clean and organised! People are very disciplined
Indeed sir! Marikeño here!! 😊
Marikeño Here ❤️
Loving more the contents of your vlog! it gives us new options on where to go for good food...more power to you and your team..God Bless
I just started my no-carb diet but this video wants me running towards Vivian’s Tapsi then Aling Remy’s after. Thank you for visiting and featuring Marikina Erwan. Hope you can come back because our humble city certainly has a lot more to offer.❤️
I like that even you're a restaurateur yourself, you go around the Philippines and feature all different restos and establishments from the cheap to expensive ones. I think your helping a lot of people here specially the smaller/cheaper establishments. Keep it up. :)
dude you're like a hybrid of wil and daniel you got artsy cinematic shots with a right amount of energy and not some fake enthusiasm
Watching you encourages me to be a chef even more. In addition, you make me miss the Philippines! Thank you for being awesome. Once I become a citizen here in LA, I'll definitely comeback to my home.
Great to have you there! I partly live & grew up in Marikina, and while I don't explore much of its surroundings, I'd definitely would like to know more of its native food. I'll look forward to you coming back & introducing more delicacies.
Looks appetizing... live here all my life and not aware of some of those places. Gonna check out everything you tried, glad I'm just one tricycle away.
I went to Marist School in Marikina and graduated from grade school back in the day. That food trip looks awesome. I havent been back in a while. It's nice to revisit in the near future. ♡♡♡
You missed Krung Thai, a hole in a wall Thai restaurant at the Marikina Public Market! It’s owned by a Marikina native married to a Thai woman. It’s one of our unknown gems in the city. It is very close to Rocha’s. You should also try Cafe Lidia, Dapo at Tisa, Rustic Mornings by Isabelo, and the best Red’s Ulo-ulo restaurant. You barely scratched what’s available here! I can give you a food tour next time you’re here! Hehe
Arnie oo nga po eh hahaha sana nag boyongs din pa sya at maczelas pizza hahaha
Kung Thai is owned by a Marikeña , tita Betty Victorino, married to a Thailander.
I love watching your videos! Always puts me in a good mood. Also makes the romance between me and my fridge grow stronger
Me and my boyfriend will try everything erwann recommends. Di na kami nahihirapan mamili ng kakainan. More of these please 😀
I watched all your vid. Super enjoy ..
I just watched this today and that pares looks amazing. Marikina has a lot to offer. Many food establishments there. Living close to it is an advantage. Being close to antipolo also makes it great great place.
Omggg..nakakagutom! I agree with you when you said that you also love ulam, rice, sabaw combo 😊 perfect trio 👌🏻
Makes me wanna go there in Marikina with my friends for food trip. Thank you for the list of restaurants in the description...
Hello Erwan! I was born and raised in Marikina City. Been staying here for bout 24 years already. Yea I must say you haven't tried the best of Marikina yet. If ever youll come back you should go to (1) Cafe Lidia (Brgy Calumpang), (2) Boyong's (Brgy San Roque) and (3) Lilac St (SSS Village) and (4) Lamp Quarter's (Bayan/Engineering).
Cafe Lidia and Boyong's are one of our best restos in town while Lilac St is a food crawl of international cuisines. It's like our version of Maginhawa St in QC. And Lamp Quarters, it's a compound of different restos as well but with a very very nice & relaxing ambience.
Happy to know you took time to feature our City. Thanks Man! Hope you'll come back here and I look forward for more of your vlogs. God bless!
Thank you for featuring Marikina. We havr more to offer. :) I love seeing you enjoying the food. Cheers. 🍻

Marikenos have to be proud of how clean this city is. Truly a walkable city, sidewalks are 'alive' and clear of obstructions. There are good and affordable restos around the city.
Makes me wanna go to Marikina. They have clean streets awesome
There are so much more foodtrip to do in Marikina, Erwan. But great job on pares and tapsi. That, in my opinion, is the best place to eat tapsi and pares.
How not to get hungry while watching his vids: pause the video, cook pancit canton real quick, go back to the video and eat your noodles while watching. Enjoy!
