Zepeda simply does not stop throwing power jabs and power combos all fight. He's like a ninja in the ring. Unless somebody can outpunch Zepeda, they're either hitting the canvas or losing rounds. Hughes simply won't be able to keep up with that volume.
Still unsure about Zepeda. Looked amazing against JoJo and Gesta. But very middle of the pack against Alvarado. Nonetheless, Maxis Cinderella story ends here. Different styles obviously, but reminiscent of Ortiz/Mckinson
Gotta go Zepeda on this. Hughes’ low level defensive will allow Zepeda’s relentless onslaught to find many holes in his guard. Low and high. I feel like it’s gonna be Zepeda by stoppage .
I view this fight as a mismatch. And unless this video that i haven’t watched yet breaks this fight down in a way that magnifies what Zepeda does wrong, I’m ready to empty out my whole account out that Zepeda wins this fight. But that’s why I pay attention to this channel. Maxi gave Kambosos the business. But I don’t rate Kambosos highly
One more comment on this video in favor of Maxi’s chances to win. Zepeda did look terrible against Rene Alvarado. And I think Hughes might be a better technical fighter than Rene Alvarado. But Alvarado is a way better fighter than his record suggests. After what he was able to show against Zepeda, promoters aren’t calling his phone, The thing with Alvarado though, he’s got some power. And Hughes doesn’t. Golden Boy probably won’t let Zepeda lose a decision. But one judge here recently had Darius Fulgum and Atlantis Fox a draw. You never know what the judges might favor on this fight
@@Johnny_Thunder A journeyman is a boxer with tons of losses, often even having losing records. Some journeymen (people like Darryl Sharp, Kristian Laight, Reggie Strickland, and Karl Sampson) are just tough fighters who show up to give up-and-comers more experience. Others (like Fireman Jim Flynn, Darnell Wilson, Darnell Boone, George "Scrap Iron" Johnson, Brayan Mairena, Marion Wilson, and Ross Puritty) are the same, but are good enough to greatly trouble and even beat ranked contenders and even champions. For example, of those mentioned, Ross Puritty was the first person to beat Wladimir Klitschko. He also managed other decent results, such as a draw with Tommy Morrison. Fireman Jim Flynn knocked Jack Dempsey out in the first round, becoming the first and only person to beat him inside the distance. Darnell Boone was the first person to beat Adonis Stevenson, and was also the first person to knock down both Andre Ward and Sergey Kovalev. Chief among Marion Wilson's results was a draw with Ray Mercer. Maxi Hughes is ranked by every organisation at lightweight. Both the WBA and IBF rank him within the top five, whilst the WBC ranks him in the top ten. The WBO has him in the top 15. He has a winning record, with his most recent loss being one of the most controversial decisions in the last few years. How on Earth could you consider him a journeyman?

@@Supersupremegang yeah I guess it wouldn’t surprise me. He did look pretty crafty when he fought Kambosos. But I don’t rate Kambosos that much
