  • My last day at up north at Knuthöjdsmosse almost ended perfectly if it wasn´t due to photographers eager to grab that award winning photograph, unfortunally some people don´t know how to act respectfully towards wildlife and other photographers.
Unfortunally this ended with discomfort for the loons, they acted stressed and they ended up flying away.
I couldn´t care less about my photo session but I feel like there are no photo worth taking if it means - that you´re putting the wildlife/bird in the way of harm, chasing birds around and making them feel stressed is not okay and isn´t something I support, we all do this because we love wildlife and photography. Show some respect to nature, each other and especially the wildlife you´re trying to photograph.
Hope you enjoy the video, if you did please feel free to

Your beautiful videography of the red-throated loons, just drifting, unstressed (5:25 to 5:50), captures (and communicates) feelings of the awe and transcendence in nature, which the other photographers are not even aware of.

Thank you so much James, I believe the true magical moments in nature only happens when nature are allowed to be nature without interferance.
Glad you liked the video, have a great day !

Beautiful Red-throated Loons! Too bad some photographers don’t realize how much better the experience and photographs would be if they patiently waited for the animal to come closer to them.

Beautiful images and a beautiful looking place to spend some time :) What a shame about the idiots chasing and disturbing the loons though - not cool :(

You got some amazing shots and footage Andy. It's unfortunate that some photographers seem to have no respect for wildlife or other people but are just totally focused on getting the shot which often they dont get because of the way they go about it. Great video, cheers Keith

Thank you so much Keith, yes it´s a shame..
been hearing that they might have to close the area for the public due to people keep harassing the loons over there.
