This show is a talent show put on in Russia to give opportunities to underprivileged talented children (she was 15 yo during this competition).. Diana's mom abused her, she was abandoned, picked up off the streets and put into foster home at a very young age.. She did not speak, so a concerned worker adopted her and put her into speech lessons.. Her singing voice developed from there. She started singing these type competitions at 13 years old..

At the age of 5 she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. I suspect part of her polyphonic sound involves a high-arched palate. I can hear the buzzing in her speaking voice during interviews. It's not something one can reproduce with technique alone. Her yodeling technique and female falsetto are also first class.

northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop where
she was rescued and sent to an orphanage. At the age of 5 she was
still traumatized and unable to speak properly. A massage
therapist who visited the orphanage trying to help kids, was the
first to recognize something special in this little girl, and
eventually adopted her. Diana was sent for singing lessons because
it was thought that this might help her learn to speak without
impediment.
Only two years later she started singing in local theater, and in
street plays and performances. And soon after was entered in a

age of 10 she was winning local competitions, singing on live TV

Her voice is unique, at least I have never heard anything similar. There are other performances of her available, which are also great. This is an excerpt from the Russian show "You are Super", where only orphans left without a father and mother participate. Only a live voice is used there. The principle is simple, you need to dial at least 3 green buttons to go to the next round. When Diana sang this song, she was 15 years old.
Diana was found in the entrance of the house, with a broken collarbone and a damaged chest. She was only 3 years old, the police took Diana to a shelter, where she was adopted by a physiotherapist - masseur.
Diana stuttered very much, here foster mother, on the advice of doctors, to Dana to singing classes to develop her speech. That's how little Diana began to sing.
On the show, Diana performed the Russian folk song "Rechenka" (river) amazingly. Where it is sung about an orphan girl who came to a small river and prays to the thoughts of water and forest.

I suspect part of her polyphonic sound involves a high-arched palate. I can hear the buzzing in her speaking voice during interviews. It's not something one can reproduce with technique alone. Her yodeling technique and female falsetto are also first class.

Thinking about a trip to St. Petersburg by car to the next concert Diana gives there! Then up through Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and back home - eventually :) I LOVE to travel!
