I'm running a Pertronix in my 66 Coronet and their coil which allows the resistor to be bypassed. Which now means that I carry a spare coil, points, condenser and resistor in the glovebox in case I have to convert it back on the side of the road.....
@@HODGEPODGEDODGEGARAGE I usually have an extra one. All the years I have been driving these cars I have rarely had to replace them. I have a bunch of extras for some reason.

Where's the road trip to and how many miles? I'd rather road trip in a newer vehicle (or just fly), but that's me. LOL. I think I'd rather see the country by train instead. You don't have to drive and you get to see the country in comfort.
@@UnfinishedProjectDartSport I used to commute 225 miles a week, mostly in traffic, so I actually don't. Now that I'm "semi-retired" as I see it, I go to the office one or two times a week now, so gas lasts me probably a month/month and half in my 2024 Corolla.
Nice work Nathan! Thanks for sharing!👍🏽
Thanks for stopping by.
Heck yeah road trip time 👍 👍
@@anthonynapier4668 Ready to hit the road.
That's a good looking wagon.
@@LongIslandMopars Just ignore the chips and scratches 😁
@@NathansMoparGarage I will if you do the same 😎

Thanks
Nice inspection ! Car looks clean
Everything looked good to go. The wagon didn't have much rust to start with when I bought it.
Great work brotha!!! def not the funnest job, nice work!
@@EYE_SPIDER Thanks, figured I should check them, it's been quite a few years since the wheels have been off.
Sure do like the Long Roof, road trip prep is always a good thing.
@@glenmiller3783 Yeah definitely make sure everything is good to go.
Road trips and wagons just go together!
Definitely 😁
I always kept a spare resistor in my '72 Dodge! 😄 Gotta be prepared 🔧

@@LongIslandMopars I did run an MSD box for a while but usually just run an regular 4 pin electronic ignition in everything.
@@NathansMoparGarage that will be my last move on the Coronet's ignition if the 2nd Pertronix module dies
I have a bunch of small block electronic distributors if you need one.
Road trip, eh 😊❤

At least it’s a fairly easy transmission leak fix
So far it's working good.

I truly enjoy driving.

I do , too, except around the Bronx, at any time.......😎
@@googleusergp Drove about 90-100 miles each way. Not super far but farther than I usually drive that car.
