      I mean it was a bit of a lucky punch, it was placed perfect, powerful, but it did also rely on Gerald being in that position, not reacting etc. KO like that are not necessarily a good reflection of skill of either fighter. He hadn't done another one like that yet.

    Bam Bam Tuivasa reminds me of Mark Hunt. Just when it seems like hes done, he goes on a winning streak. He will be top 5 but I dont think he will be champion. He gets tagged too much.

      Gamrot is good man, be on the lookout for Shavkat Rakhmonov at WW, he's 16-0 with 16 finishes and has two sub wins in the UFC, really good prospect.

    Huge wins this year for Meerschaert. Super impressive win over a big time prospect in Muradov then a come from behind victory over Stoltzfus to end the year. Much respect for bouncing back the way he did after the Khamzat fight.

      How was his win over Muradov “super impressive”??? Jesus. Have you people even watched the fight? He was a few seconds from getting finished and then proceeded to kick Muradov in the groin/and poke him in the eye, and the momentum just changed. If those two illegal shots don’t happen, he was getting TKOd.

You can say whatever you want about how you think the fight was going to end but the end result was a rnc for Gerald. Muradov is a beast so a win over him, especially a finish is huge for anyone. Stop hating on GM3.

      @@andy5570 he has proven himself... this isn't Khamzat. Gane has beat 4 top 10 guy in a span of 9 months. JDS, Rozenstruik, Volkov, and Lewis. If he beats Ngannou that's 5 wins in 13 months. No one has that kind of output at the top

      He is really good, but i hate that the UFC has Silva vs Alex Pereira lined up next. Both of those guys will be absolute studs in this Middleweight division. Silva should be fighting someone like Brad Tavares who is just outside the top 15, Then Pereira should be fighting like a Misha Cirkunov or a Zak Cummings, a UFC Vet, to get a solid name on his UFC resume. It's early to throw those to at eachother.

      Disagree. Angela Hill is a hurry up and do nothing kinda fighter. I can’t even give her the benefit of the doubt going into these decisions because it’s not like she has a history of breaking opponents or dominating. Lemos on the other hand pushes the pace, got knockdowns, and otherwise landed the heavier shots throughout only 3 rounds.

    Islam vs Olivera makes sense. Khamzat knocked Gerald out with one punch is unbelievable. Casey O Neil in the same division as Valentina😅 Usman is the #1 P4P and champ for a reason, he beat up 3 killers in the same year. Not only that, Colby and Masvidal were both rematches.

      Usman is not p4p number one at all he relies on size strength and peds.
      Volkanovski and yan are clearly better and more skilled not just juiced up power houses.

    Love that the UFC evolves into earlier stoppages by the referees and that the younger generation of fighters wait for the reaction of their opponents after a severe knockdown before ground and pound and hammerfists. Keeps them all healthier and in the sport for longer without unnecessary brain damage.
