It took me two hours but once you have the roof before you check mark get close to the roof and you will see these small arrows that kind of look like cones and you can adjust it! Get close to it!!
idk if anyone else has this problem but the pillars were kind of a struggle and I couldn't add walls bc it wasn't straight enough but no matter how much I fixed the pillars it still would not work. pls help

If you don't have a boundary game pass you can't place the light on the taller roof, or the vent. Still love this though!

For scaling the first gable roof, you need to have advanced placing or i just cant find the button.
There is a button to extend the roof
Just look at the top of the roof you'll see something looked like a Cone
