I had a Lhasa and he was the most perfect thing in my life. His personality was a joy to witness. They’re super protective, loving and loyal. They tend to have a bit of an aggression, and can often be territorial. You need a lot of love and patience to welcome a Lhasa. They don’t do well with strangers, and may bite as a form of dominance. A lot of training to ease their anxiety and wariness would be required. Please have A LOT OF PATIENCE when handling a Lhasa, they’re a wonderful breed once you get past the nipping and form a bond. This breed is great for those who work from home or don’t mind traveling with their fur baby. They do have separation anxiety, so it’s not ideal to leave them home alone as the grieve. They enjoy the cold weather as their coats are thick, so don’t be afraid to take them for walks in the snow, just watch out for the snow sticking to their fur ☺️
Those little dog's always woke my parents up late at night alerting my mom I had got back home late from a date or party,,,they sure are cute and very smart little dog's I wish I could buy one for babyglume.
Those little dog's inside the double wide trailer and walker and blue stick hounds outside and a black and tan that was bought outside a tavern in Duvall Washington state in around 1974.
Having no experience with the Maltese, I can only comment on the Lhasa, which I’ve had three of over the years and are my breed of choice. My favorite part of having a relationship with a Lhasa is their independent nature. They don’t give their loyalty or obedience easily. So when they obey it is out of respect and loyalty you’ve earned.
What do you like the most about the Lhasa Apso and Maltese?
🧸🌈🥰.
