This is absolutely the BEST fix when you get the mod_security problem. It has worked EVERY time on EVERY site that I have. Simple and you don't have to jump through a bunch of hoops.

This video is very simple. It show the exact error and then shows how to fix it. Yes there are hundreds of possible errors that happen just when logging in. This fix will not suit everyone. If you're a beginner and getting frustrated then hire an expert to help. :)

I just wanted to say Thank you for posting this video. I've been getting the redirect for the past few days, as well. I disabled all of my plugins manually, via my www directory on my localhost and somehow that resolved it the first time. I did the same thing today and it was not budging. I came across your video, found the work around for the login and even though the url looked the same on both for me, I copied the top, pasted it to the bottom and for now, I am able to login on the admin side. I guess you could edit this info on your sever but that would be another video altogether. You can google "edit WordPress site settings on server" and choose the first option. They have a good way to do this.

I had the same problem, and the way I got out of it was to add these lines of code to the wp-config.php define('WP_HOME','example.com'); define('WP_SITEURL','example.com'); In other words change the url settings manually from the wp-config file.
Sorry, but I have to ask. Did you replace the "example.com" with your own url? :) If you did, then probably you are facing this problem because of another reason.

To those still having login problems, it can be caused for many reasons. She is only showing you one possible cause. I just had my ability to login fail yesterday because I found out my hostserver migrated my site to a new server and crashed a database. They finally fixed it, after 24 hours. You can also see the site url and the home url in your wp-config.php file on your server. This will also show you the database name.
Computerbasics If no info there you can define the url by adding
define('WP_HOME','example.com');
