Love to hear all your comments! It took me 6 months to research and put this movie together. I dedicate it to all the ancestors of Walter B Dent.

That was awesome, Brian. Kudos for such an intense amount of research! Plan on making a part 2 to go over the Dents once they came to America?

Of course… yes, the full life story of Captain John Dent and the rebellion he and our family members staged In Maryland. I’m also planning something to educate people about the Charles County Dents. Most people believe they are a branch of the family. They have no idea that the entire dent family is from Charles county not Saint Mary’s. Walter B and six children were the only direct ancestors who lived in St Mary’s

Correction they were the only generation born in St Mary’s. Walter Levi, Walter B’s father, moved there and built the farm.

@@waterandicefactory When I lived in Woodbridge, VA, there was a Dent's Seafood, which would park a food truck at the end of our road each weekend. I got to talking to them one day, got some family names, and looked them up. Although they were a Dent family, I don't believe we were related, or easily related to them. Everyone in Woodbridge that ever saw my name would ask if I was related to them, and shared that they weren't very good people anyway lol

@@cdent4 I don’t think I’ve met too many Dents who aren’t in my family. Very likely a distant cousin. I was researching today. Dents were one of most common names in colonial Maryland. 354 Dents. Probably because they married each other so often. lol Also, because Lord Baltimore -the Calverts- knew us from back in England.
