I don't think I would be able to move the book LOL I'd definitely let my dog continuously lay on it and pick something else 😂 I finished The Poppy War from RF Kuang... and something about her writing is 🤯 I find her world building is huge. It's definitely dense with a lot of themes, plot, and character growth/dynamics. I really enjoyed The Poppy War!!
the amount of times I have to stop reading because my cats end up on my lap and blocking my book is crazy 😂 She crafts a story so well! Babel is definitely the same with how dark the story gets. Her books really pull out all of my emotions 😭 I'm so happy you like it!! The rest of the trilogy just gets more intense so be prepared!

Your recommendations/favorite books are SUCH A HIT 🥹 I'M AT 100pgs into it and it's everything so relate-able to me (gaming, game design, programming, women in stem) and the storytelling is so dynamic and has a gentle flow to it. Definitely a different read but So good so far!!!
