There are so few vids out there that give proper guides on how to paint 30k Dark Angels, especially ones that don't involve airbrushes, so finding this made for a pretty great day! Not to mention the step-by-step on things like the winged sword or checker boards are things I really wish I'd had sooner. Looking forward to seeing your take on the other legions if for nothing other than entertainment. The color you used for basing the armor was a good call too, I just schlock on Abaddon black and call it a day lol
Man, pre-Heresy DA are so stylish. Good call on the dark grey, it leaves you a step down for darker shades. A lot of people forget that, including myself lmao 😎 Great video man. Makes me want to get a better camera myself. What do you use for your videos?
Thanks mate, yea someone taught me that black is had because you have no where to move from there, same with white, I actually want to start experimenting without using black at all in my pallets see how that goes! My camera is a lumix gh4, a well priced 4K camera, luckily I have a mate who is a camera expert (also my editor 😋)
Looks like I'm starting a 30k Dark Angels army! Great video mate

Just got myself some mk3 breachers for a 30k DA army. This will be my guide, much appreciated. Also good channel, keep it up
Great video! Looking forward to the rest in the series, and very curious how you will do the yellow for the Fists.
Imperial Fists are being edited right now :)
