... I decided to try and experiment with the E403, which involves taking it apart. I took the two filter potentiometer wiring and I duplicated it to two phone jacks on the back. From there I was able to patch in two expensive pedal volume controls, and despite the mismatch of the resistance, being able to really control both filters in real time with the pedals as you play produced quite an interesting effect ... The internal pots are a little bit abrupt
I don't have this 413 anymore sorry, but my reviews are going more in the direction of styles rather than demonstrating sounds. Next up is the Yamaha PSR-E253 :)
Plus, if you run this through a decent Soundsystem, you would be amazed at how it sounds. I bought one of these for the young people at our church for under $100 Canadian, and when you run it through a trainer stereo keyboard amplifier you had a pretty good sound. It is interesting how you can tweak the Yamaha grand piano sound to sound even better...
it sounds crap because the microphone is just picking up the internal speakers. If you took the output directly and run it through the sound system it wouldn't sound like crap. I guarantee you, since I actually own one of these little guys
Sounds awesome 😎 one of Yamaha’s great home Keyboards 🎹

This is great - you should make a video about this :)
This is the spiritual successor to PSR-280
"Spiritual successor"? That is an interesting concept for keyboards :) GF
@@gearfacts Spiritual successor means a successor that carries the "spirit" of the original instrument and remastered with modern features
For your next video, can you please play every single style on the e413? Because I don’t see anyone else make videos playing them at all.

@@gearfacts Do you have the e423??
@@okjeffy6581 Not anymore, but here's my review from when I did have it: ruclips.net/video/3LTBphu8Aeg/видео.html
Looking for manufacturers brochure for this keyboard
Are you testing your nee keyboard...??? or try to show anything??? or Review!!!
That doesn't even make sense bro, what are you trying to say?
Ése teclado se vé lindo
Yeah I guess it's reasonably cute :)
Zagraj mi coś z disco polo
Tu entraste a m casa a robar y tocaste mi teclado solo para grabar un vídeo enserio?
Lamento que hayan robado en su casa. Aunque yo no, estoy en Australia.
Zagraj
sounds like a heap of rubbish
Not everyone can afford high-end gear though.

you made it sound more disusting
Yes I am filled with disust.
sounds crap
Yeah Yamaha should be giving us something way better for $99.
It wold sound better if it was being played properly. I've got one but I don't use the arpeggiator.
Ooh ouch, a subtle dig!

Crap or not, it’s still nostalgic. (Well at least to me).
