TIPS : use safety pins to remember the beginning of each row
SUMMARY :
1) INCREASE
Row0 magic ring (TIPS : make it big enough, you can tight it at the end of Row1 by pulling the string end)
Row1 (total 18 loops) 3 ch, 17 DC in the ring, split stitch in 3rd stitch, tighten the string end, hide the string with a needle
Row2 (total 18 loops) [6 ch, SC in next stitch] * REPEAT, ch 3, DC into 1st stitch
Row3 (total 18 loops)
Row4 (total 18 loops)
Row5 (total 20 loops)
2) PIPE SHAPE :
Row6 -> Row20 (total 20 loops for each row)
3) DECREASE
Row21 (total 9 loops)
Row22 (total 8 loops)
Row23 (total 7 loops)
Row24 (total 6 loops)
Row25 (total 5 loops)
Row26 (total 4 loops)
Row27 (total 3 loops)
4) HANDLES

I am on round one and I’ve done every step correct but I’ve came to the end of my round and I only have to 17 loops.

@@itsbrad4525not sure if you still have this issue but make sure that in row 1 you’re making the slip stitch in the 3rd loop and not the first dc,not sure if this makes sense but hopefully this helps

This started out good but towards the end the directions were hard to follow so I had to turn it into a drawstring bag instead. It will still serve its purpose but unfortunately it's not the bag I was wanting.
I also find it really confusing after row 6 😢 and I’m ending up with the same issue

Rows 6-20...9ch and sc into next loop 19 times. Do we end each row with 4 ch and a treble into 1st ch on the previous row.
Or should we continue without the 4 ch tr into the previous row st

I would say though it’s not absolute beginner friendly, you still need to know all the basic stitches and be fairly good at them other wise you’ll get stuck and probably won’t turn out too good.
My rings and my whole work curls do I crochet less in the magic loop or do i use a bigger/smaller hook, do I use other yarn? Help is appreciated!
This response may be delayed but it's frustrating when someone doesn't answer your questions. The curling is usually from your tension. It happens more if you're a tight crocheter. In this project, just go with it and it smooths itself out as you go.

I’m considering finding small cotton twine. I’m going to look at the hardware store. I’m hoping it will be more durable than the cotton I use for dish cloths.
I used the normal string called I think, what you can also find in stores that sell different tools,not the common yarn... the colour is always like beige I think. It's not white and not grey. Something between maybe. And it's stronger than the cotton yarn.

Same here. The end was super confusing and the bag ended up waaaay too long and tubular. I put a couple pieces of clothing in it afterwards, put the handle on my shoulder, and the bag sagged to my knees. Live and learn though! If I make it again, I’ll considerably reduce the number of rows in the “Row 6-20 repeat” step. 🙂

my bag had no decreases. this video was super confusing and i just attached straps to the side 😭 i wouldnt recommend making this. i also got confused when the video said to "do it again" with no telling of where to start your new stitch. terrible!!
