Subconsciously I have been very distrustful of this time we live in. I grew up in the 80s which in my mind was a very different time where trust was valued by most people.

Thank you sir for your honesty and careful organized information. For better for worse, we are witnessing history unfolding in front of us. If you consider the stock market is not only associated with economic conditions but also a tools for capital to grab more money, then you can find multiple reasons for it either going up or down, bull or bear. The up cycle of dollar draws money to the US. The repetition of dollar cycles makes it hard to gain trust. Eventually I’m afraid the US will be flooded with dollars, in that case, the stock market may go up to sky．It is really a difficult time indeed.

Thanks Ben for sharing you thoughts on the topic of trust; it's sad that the country and society have got to this shape. With your experiences and wisdom, what does it take for the US society to get back to its healthy state?
It seems that corruption is everywhere. This is not only at the government level, but corporate and individual as well. If you study ancient history, Israel had a long pattern of being blessed and favored by God - but oftentimes, it was a conditional blessing. Repeatedly, they would turn away from God and his requirements. Then, judgment fell upon them. I mention the book by Dr. Carmen Reinhart and Dr. Ken Rogoff - "This time is different.....Eight centuries of financial folly". It has consistently been a temptation for politicians and the ruling class to borrow money into oblivion for their various purposes and never learn the same lessons from the past - collapse.
So, there is the spiritual component and the fiscal component. We do not seem willing to seek either - but I think the answer to your question lies in both.

Yes Ben, that area of distrust is called Ex Wife! 😆 All kidding aside I got my money stolen thru Coinbase which is a crypto platform! People always wanna take advantage of others and it’s all about money! Not to mention the news, it’s getting out of hand! Media is completely untrustworthy!
