Tarja is so, so amazing. She is in a class of her own. Whilst there are a lot of great symphonic metal bands out there with fantastic female vocalists (Within Temptation, Epica, Tristania to name a few) I believe that Tarja will always be there at the top! I liked her v.much in Nightwish and adore her solo stuff! Can't wait for her new album! Her voice is so ethereal, there's nothing like it :)

@scbenzino I have to agree, and I am a big fan of Sarah Brightman. Tarja's voice is epic. No one else has her tone and timbre. She is mesmerizing. When she layers her voices it is almost orgasmic for me.
And FYI, Amy Lee is the singer that got me into this genre, and while I agree that she's not the only good singer out there, and that her style isn't the same as Tarja's or whatever, I still like her and occasionally listen to her music. And to have people personally attack another person just because they like (or dislike) a certain singer, is offensive and rude. Grow the fuck up, your opinion isn't law or truth, and it doesn't make a differing opinion "wrong" or "stupid."
@deadmnte I think they are some different CD with Bonustracks. Here in Europe they used 3 Bonustracks: 19. Damned Vampire & Gothic Divine 20. I Walk Alone (Artist Version) 21. I Walk Alone (In Extremo Remix) as Bonus. There are no more space for a 22th track, because the CD playing over 79 Minutes. In a russian site I found a CD version with 1 Bonus song: 19. The seer In some sites The seer is listed as fifth song on the album. But I think it is a mistake.
this is very true...Sure,some of the songs The "New" nightwish made arn't that good, but thats just my opion, some of the songs are great! (Take 7 Days to the Wolves for an example.)
read Nightwish's autobiography. it explains the situation. Tarja was letting the band down. her husband was too greedy - he was behind the cancelled tours, because his demands were too high. read the book, get the facts, then make an educated opinion. tarja has an amazing voice, and i love nightwish with both singers, different sound, but still amazing music.
this song is awesome, but pity is that tarjas solo is not metal anymore its closer and closer to pop... but she will always have special place in my heart

yes, how true, it seemed nessesary to get a new singer, but they didn´t simply replace tarja it should be differant and not just put a copy of tarja in it, she is to unique to replace. so to bad she left. but nightwish with annete do a good job right now.

this is actually a really good song! ok, maybe a few of the lyrics are a tad Cheesy like the rest of the album. but this really is a nice song! I hope her next album is a bit better though. oh! and I would love to hear her reach a few higher notes in the studio. yes I know she can go very High but i would love to her it aswell!
