If I use a kydex holster, remove the clip and attachments and slap a Velcro on it, will it work for the back pocket? Just want to be safe rather than using the holster included.
Unfortunately the strap is attached to the bag on the old and new models. The company has a great bag but even with the newer model the strap still lacks the needed cushion and quality for a higher end bag. The company is veteran owned but I don't think they ever carried an EDC bag before with the way the bag strap handles the weight.
Can that outside most pocket fit a pair of Mechanix gloves? Looks like probably not. I feel like that bag might've been more useful if the ccw space was traded for a regular sling bag space and the outside most pocket zipper entrance was slightly larger.

Now that i know you can make a fist and fit it into the front small pocket,,im sold!
I got the same bag and same strap pad awhile back, love it! Also have an XL for when I want a little more.

The included holster works excellent, but if you want to use your own holster it should be fine and fit well depending on the size of the firearm.

Can you remove the Viktos logo from the front of the bag? Is it sewn in or just stuck on? Can it be peeled off?
It looks like it's an iron on logo. You might be able to peel it off if you warm it up.
