    I force would be my choice. No way the benefits you get from the max are worth 4k more. Slightly better power and maybe 1-2 mpg better. The extra weight of the hybrid system also offsets some of the power gains.

    You are never going to be able to tell any appreciable difference driving for a 1/2 mile at 30 mph. I've driven both back to back extensively. The hybrid definitely delivers more additional grunt when you first step into it, but they feel pretty much the same when the turbos kick in. The hybrid in this case is simply a power -adder. Not intended for fuel economy.

      Hybrids are excellent… for city and mall crawlers. Pick up trucks and people who spend more time on highways get almost no benefit going hybrid, let alone electric.

    • @JIPlatium
      @JIPlatium 2 месяца назад +2

      @@JoseDiaz-qw7mgfalse. Maybe if you live in a flat world. I'm an owner of the hybrid and hands down for power, driving, and even saving fuel the hybrid is better. I live 6k elevation in the country. To get to the city, I use a highway and freeway. About 30 mins for each. The city is about 4500 in elevation. To get to the city there and back, the road starts at 6k, dips down to 5500, goes back up to just over 6k for the pass. Down rolling downhill terrain to the city. Have to make the climb back. Average mpg 21. The hybrid system is active all the time. Through the small town I pass through at 45 mph, runs on electric. Down hills, recharge and electric. Flat ground, hybrid uses the battery charge to supplement fuel consumption until it drops to a certain charge.
      Also try towing in the mountains, you are going to want the extra torque.

    • @charlesbarden2970
      @charlesbarden2970 2 месяца назад +1

      @JoseDiaz-qw7mg the hybrid adds more torque so it makes the truck better for towing which is the entire point. I get folks think hybrid is only for efficiency but they do so much more

    Absolutely love the Iforce Max in my Tundra 1794. Faster than most cars. The Iforce Max is significantly faster the the Iforce. I test drove these trucks for a while. Instant torque in the Iforce Max. I just traded in my 6.2 V8 Denali Sierra so even compared to that

    It "rumbles" because they have them programmed to make the rumble noise through the speakers as you accelerate lol. They make programmers to turn that off.

    1340 - 1380... thats it... What the hell. 🤨🤮So I have to get the rear wheel drive model for the 1900? So with the crappy turning radius + mediocre payload means I really do not want one(although in your video you go around that round-a-bout reasonably well so maybe I am worried about nothing.) I think I am wanting a cargo van? But damnit, I want the bed of the truck? Thanks for showing the payload + towing.

    Both drop engines at same rate. My 2023 Tundra dropped the engine at 17,000 miles and it took 2 months to get a new one. Traded it on a 2024 4runner with the proven v6. You can keep those crappy 3.5 turbo Tundra engines.
