LUXE is my favorite 5th wheel. I had to put my HDT plans on hold because of cancer but I’m almost through with treatments. As soon as I can, I’ll get my HDT (again😖) and my LUXE for full time retirement. I’ll be able to FINALLY meet up with all the HDT people, which I’m really looking forward to. I’ll probably be the only single woman with that rig but I’m looking forward to it.

What we talked about last week. Beautiful paint, nice interior decorations, but they are still a box on wheels bouncing down the horrible highways in the country. Still get the same components and have the same problems as an 80k unit.

WOW WOW WOW WOW! It is amazing how far not just 5th wheels have come, but all RV's. However, at that price point, I'd rather have some land somewhere to home base out of...

Went and looked at a Luxe. They ARE built better than anything else out there... by far! The ability to add a window or delete one is no problem. Many real interior decoration choices make it your own. But it's just out of my price range. So the question "worth it" is a relative phrase. Can even half the RVers afford it is a better question.

We have a Teton 2007 , and it was 200,00 back then it has a lot of the amenities as that.

Great video beautiful RV but it’s still a trailer. Can’t see paying that much money for a trailer. I’ve watched a lot of videos of RV and there are a lot out there for a whole lot less. I tell people buy used to learn a to see if that’s what you want. Helps you see what you want and don’t want. They are beautiful and another great video. Stay safe and God bless

Their toy haulers are top shelve. I would prefer a 22' garage that once toys are outside converts into nice living area.

I looked at a deluxe fifth wheel yrs ago; guy bought it for $175000 new....the interior and exterior was in like new condition; very deluxe indeed, but he couldnt sell it wanted $55g; was unsaleable bc it weighed 18,000 lbs dry!! needed like a semi to pull it!! not many people own a semi or even want to go that route just for an rv...it it remained unsold all the years i knew it.

I click on ,to see if anybody has any Idea about The Insurance Cost ,What in The Warranty .That always much go with the WOW`s
Hi Scott. The factory warranty is 3 years frame and 1 year for bumper to bumper but they also buy an extended warranty for you so its 5 year bumper to bumper with the extended warranty. I am guessing $1500 or so a year for a full-timers policy but I cant be certain. Hope that helps. Safe Travels
Not my idea of camping, I got a fifth wheel, don't use it much anymore, camperized cargo trailer works the best for me, gonna sell my fifth wheel.

Buy what you can afford, but keep reminding yourself, RV’s are the worst investments. They only depreciate and you’ll never get all your money back. On that note, the high end RV’s are awesome. 👍🤑

Ours has a cargo weight of 4600+ and I thought that was a lot. 1 bathroom, 3 slides, 3 axles ~40'...as much as that Luxe and I would add "more". I am a gadget addict....lol

Nice coach in many respects except the corners on the slides , if they can make cargo doors with round corners why not the slide s.

That is a lot of money. Ours is 43 ft can't imagine any longer either. Paint job is beautiful but you better never take that around any trees hate to scratch it.

Hate to say it but... I have a lot more storage in my Heartland Bighorn, especially in the basement. I am 43 feet long. Pulling with full size Freightliner 3 axle rig.

Beautiful interior. I am intrigued by the cheap-looking curtains, though. For an MSRP of $200k+, I wonder if Luxe could have shelled out for thicker/nicer fabric.

Where'd they buy those curtains, Walmart? Hideous! And they were in both coaches. Luxe seems nice but I think they need a few more changes.
I agree, the curtians looked cheap. Not sure why they had curtains anyway. Our DRV doesn't and it looks great with the wood valances and the roll down shades. No curtain needed. :) Thanks for checking out the video. Safe Travels

Wow, what a beautiful rig. But damn this poor boy just can't jump that high. I still live on my beer budget.
BUT if I had what the Cindy calls her unlimited budget. The helicopter, boat, 100 thousand acre ranch in Montana and the private island in the Caribbean. Woops thats my dream time to wake up. Hers is just to be financially secure and be able to enjoy traveling and having fun with friends, grandkids.

Small basement storage. How many batteries? Too expensive.

Awesome but not once did you talk about power, propane did it come with gen set storage out side heated basement gray black water tanks how many. were they heated was 1 2 3 4 season all this would have been nice to know... thanks

Yes, the coach comes with generator prewired in the front bay. All tanks are up inside the coach so they are heated along with heat pads. The coach has 2 grey and 2 black tanks plus a 100 gallon fresh water tank. This is a 4 season fulltime living coach. Hope that helps. Safe Travels
So how is this to your DRV fullhouse. I like both.
Luxe does offer some flexibility in build and design that DRV doesn't offer but I would still buy DRV. Less expensive and built just as well as Luxe. The guys over at Rolling Retreats will make modifications to your coach after production. Hope that helps. Safe Travels
Stunning. Absolutely stunning. Luxe doesn’t have any problem selling these work’s of art, so the price must be right. Do you know what most Luxe owners pull these rigs with? I think my 21 F350 dually is rated for that weight but I didn’t hear all the numbers. My payload capacity is 5,650 lbs and my 5th wheel towing capacity is 32,500 lbs. What’s your opinion on towing the Luxe’ with a dually versus your HDT?
Don't pull this with an F350. Need and HDT to be safe and you will enjoy the drive better.

If your looking at that weight class your not pulling it,. It's pushing you.
Example I had an Izuzu 1ton dully hooked up too our flatbed trailer with a 743 bobcat and grapple bucket. I could pull it BUT When I went to stop. It was hang on to your butt. When I made a turn it was the pucker factor.
Personally when you get these big rigs you need something up front to stop them.

We noticed, at the Luxe rally, most people were pulling with an F450 or bigger with a couple of them using HDTs. We are a little partial to the HDT since we use one and I would agree with all others here that HDT would be the best and safest bet. Hope that helps. Safe Travels
Are the prices MSRP?
Hi Joe. These are "factory direct" prices. Since there is no Luxe dealer network they don't call it MSRP but I also didn't get the feeling there is a whole lot of negotiating that goes on either. Safe Travels

Two other upscale builders who both build their own frames, far superior to the Lippert frames. Spacecraft and New Horizons. Check them out in your travels.

BOTH ARE EXTREMELY OVER PRICED AND NOT NEARLY THE SAME CRAFTSMANSHIP. BOTH ARE OVER 28,000 LBS. YOU NEED A SEMI TO TOW THEM . EVEN A 450 PU IS NOT ENOUGH. THEY ARE OVER $ 276,000 .
Worth it ? Really depends. Yes they are wonderful to look at but for me, its starts at the frame and how its built. That will determine if the cost is really worth it compared to the cheap ones.
