for some reason this song makes me sad but happy, it reminds me of my grandpa. when i was little, he was learning this song and i could hear him playing it in his music room. i now am learning guitar and i would like to learn this song for him. i know it would make him happy:) he deserves it, he was there when my dad wasn’t

I know you've heard it 100 times before but practice is literally the only way you'll get better. believe me it's miserable at first but eventually you'll get a hang of it and before you know it you'll be playing fingerstyle songs with your eyes closed
Even if this is late as hell, just take your time, don't rush, and if this is your first finger style song, please try to go a little easier. This is pretty advanced.

Not gonna lie. The finger picking makes me a bit nervous 😟 I hardly use pics, even w/ certain songs that require kinda require it. . It just feels unnatural to me. Ruby Pelton I have quite small hands too, make sure you use your pinky to reach higher notes and you should be able to do it.

Anything that's not a jazz standard seem to be forbidden in music stores
