Yo bro! I grew up in Visalia. Class of 89'. I can recommend a flawless spot to enjoy multiple jumps completely safe...perfect. South entrance to Sequioa national park. Cal. Hiway 198. Just inside the gate(20$) for 7 day pass, drive 1/2 mile to FIRST parking spots on left side of the road. Retainer pond is directly across from those spots on right side. Cyclone fence surrounds the pond, the trail down to the cliffs is right beside the fence. The spot has solid granite cliffs on each side 80 yds long. Upper bowl is well over 20 feet. I've never been able to touch its TOO deep. Flawless take off points abound. Both sides. Then the cliffs open to a huge lagoon 15 feet deep. Best swimming spot in the central valley u have my word. 2 minutes there u will realize u can jump all day and have a freaking blast. Just a heads up on a good spot that will not disappoint in any way. Los Angeles swimmin has a video on RUclips showing it. The title is cliff jumping at the cliffs. Check it u will for sure dig what you see. A trip here for the day isn't a waste of time.
I hate to be that buzzkill, but just a few words from experience: I just fractured my back jumping the second spot, the wind tweeked my (near perfect) landing and my butt was out just a few too many inches behind me, and when it hit the water i was 3mm from being paralyzed. The SAR guy in the rescue heli said they pick up 6-8 people per summer, and not all of them are lucky enough to be alive. I'm not saying don't jump but always cliff jump responsibly! Always have a spotter ready to swim you to safety, always have a plan in case someone can't move, and always have a group of people. It saved my life.
Do thrillseekers ever really learn from the dangers they court? Three High On Life thrillseekers died attempting to shoot a video of themselves high atop a waterfall. One of them slipped; the other two tried to save her and died in the process. Is there anything thrillseekers can learn from this? Or do they just "put it behind them" as the narrator says in this video and move on to the next thrill because that is what you live for?
True, it is what they live for. But cliff jumping, stunts of this nature, have a way of going wrong at some point. The dude was extremely lucky he didn't smash into the rocks and either died or came away with a number of broken bones. It's only a matter of time.
Living a life with no risk involved and always taking it easy isn’t as rewarding as taking that risk and if it pays off then the risk was completely worth it. Take risks. No one makes it out alive
Hoooly moly that ropeswing is huge :D
Moving to Zephr Cove I can’t wait to check all these out!
You guys should have went to angora lakes, it’s an amazing view and there is a couple high jumps
that's where they went bruv, 00:45

Byron Gordon it’s what they love for buddy :)

Byron Gordon it's only a matter of time before we all check out. Some people fear not taking risks more than taking the risk itself.
that was woke
