When Welsh cartoon SuperTed was rereleased in English (1983-1986), Melvyn Hayes brought his brilliance to the role of Skeleton.
Melvyn Hayes also played Skeleton in a SuperTed stage show.
Skeleton has been credited by Insider as the first LGBTQ character in children's animated TV.
SuperTed was created by Mike Young and Siriol Animation, who also made the animated intro to Series 1-5 of Knightmare.
