A lot of the members are very touchy feely with each other 😂 it's always really cute to see how close they are and sometimes it makes for some very funny moments.
Their culture is much more accepting and open and even expectedly expressive to personal touch between platonic men as a sign of trust. Not the "romantic" affection that western cultures associate that physicality with. It's very different in their culture. It's loyalty and friendship, brotherhood. It's not sexual by design.

They've had 5 GRAMMY nominations (unfortunately they haven't won any because the GRAMMYs love scamming them and using them for clout), they are the first and only Korean acts to ever get nominated same with billboard, they topped the hot 100, 200 (including and excluding US) and they are actually the first and only to peak/debut at no. 1, the only other Korean acts who were able to do this are the BTS members as soloists lmao.
A few years ago, I was dying of laughter because of this video. But now... tears of pride well up in my eyes (they achieved everything Yoongi talked about in these interviews. Charlie released a song with Jungkook) I miss them so much...
Bruh a lot of the edits are cringy , just watch BTS interviews as how they are. Like BTS wired interview or their run episodes they are all in RUclips. I recommend you the zombie one.

I hate when people call them gay. That has never been said. First of all if you know the Korean culture you know that men have skipship. They totally respect women 100% and do not touch unless they're in a relationship. They are totally comfortable looking, complimenting and even some touching each other without it being a sexual thing. I love there so confident that they can do that. Others interpret it as gay I guess. I can tell you right now that all of those guys do appreciate women. Unless it is said by them (and they do not have to prove it one way or another) I wish people would leave them alone. Kind of like the wearing pink thing. No many countries in the world that thinks that pink is a girls color. Not the US! They are getting better about this. And the thing is if you go back to the 1800 even further back ... you will find upperclass boys wore both pink/blue. Actually pink was actually the color for boys and blue was for girls. Department store wars change peoples thinking. That's an awesome thing to search.

let's also not assume they're all straight as well, yoongi has definitely said a few times that it doesn't matter who he's with as long as he vibes well with the person (something along those lines) and RM has even made a point to say girlfriend or boyfriend when talking about his own members therefore we don't know their sexuality for sure. most people who say stuff like that are joking and fully get how different skinship is in korean culture than in other places but they literally just be jokes and if there is some truth in people believing that they're gay then they make sure not to mention the members directly based on what i've seen. naturally people are gonna be curious, is it their business? no, but you can't keep people from using their imagination especially if it's in a healthy, nontoxic way.

This was the Love Yourself era of albums so everyone kept asking them what they love about themselves which got old fast. Along with the constant who’s your Hollywood crush and who do you want to collaborate with. Hardly anyone treated them seriously and assumed they followed pop musicians instead of hip hop or anything else
BTS have been nominated for the Grammy Awards 5 times but unfortunately they still haven't won. But being nominated is still a huge accomplishment especially for a Korean artist, and they've also performed on the Grammys 3 years in a row.

I will say the Korean work they teach the reporter in the red hat at the end doesn’t mean what he thinks! Plus during their initial American tours in the begining so around the time of the video they were getting the same questions asked of them multiple times each video so they were beginning to get tired of the same questions asked which is what I think Jimin during the whats ur favorite song question when he looked bored when they answered fire it was most likely a repeat question they get asked a lot!

I personally don't enjoy US interviews as much... Mostly because they get asked the same questions all the time and majority of the times it is not about their music... Very few interviewers ask important stuff.
By same questions I mean things like, who's their celebrity crush and always expecting a western artist, who's the artist they want to collab with again expecting someone from the US, what are the things they love about being famous in the US... So pretty much it's all US centered which is not bad, but aaaall interviews with those questions it get redundant. They could be asking about Korean culture, food, even culture shock moments, the message in their music etc
