PAL 1.60 is exactly the same as NTSC 1.40. The only difference is that the first releases of the PAL 1.60 version have the blue police cars in the intro (Later PAL version releases have black police cars).
We can actually achieve 100% in PAL 1.40 version due to a glitch, you have to do the paramedic missions 3 times (12x3).

Something curious is that the alternate final mission dialogue is still visible in the subtitles in pal 1.60
Yep, but only in the other languages
Also, every stunt jump is faster in ntsc or pal 1.60, basically every versions available of the game except 1.40
And the turismo mission has way big checkpoints in pal 1.40
You can still get 100% on PAL 1.40 if you do Paramedic missions 2 additional times. I did just that lmao.

nice but are you sure 1.60 PAL version that was released had blue police cars in intro? Since i do have the german cover with 50330/EURO which is the 1.40 and that is one supposed to have them not the later version, but correct me if im wrong :)
Yep, the PAL 1.60 version releases have the blue police cars in the intro (and also the DMA and Renderware logo as well)
@@Majin13PS3that suprises me, i thought only 1.40 PAL has it, would that make still 1.40 rare when 1.60 has still blue police cars logo as well? 😅
PAL 1.40 version has many uniques features that all other versions don't have, everything is in the video. Not to mention the rarity of finding them on the market
@@Majin13PS3i am honestly shocked a bit how rare they are afterall. I went ebay and i couldnt find 1?? Just for sale no matter price. I bought my gta 3 locally, texted guy once and never got answer, it was stil for sale 3 months later, texted again and he replied and got it, i think all in all was 15$ with shipping
Does anyone know if PAL 1.40 and PAL 1.60 have different matrix codes on the underside of the disc?
It’s the same code we use here in NTSC land to differentiate the 4 different versions of San Andreas released on PS2.
Worth mentioning the pal 1.40 things only aply for ps2
Anyway there is no pal 1.40 for any other video game consoles

Both are ok, depends on what you're looking for
