      Awesome! X-Plane 11 is a great flight simulation software now that most of the bugs are worked out of it. Navigraph is a great solution for navdata and charts!

    Great video. I am just started to investigate VATSIM. I was surprised to not hear any ATC chatter. Is that not part of VATSIM?

    • @NorthWriter
      @NorthWriter Год назад

      It is, but you have to be at an airport or in a sector that has someone online as ATC.

    Such a good video, thank you! I do have a question, with your checklist how did you get it to automatically tick the boxes when you do something?

    • @MicahMesser
      @MicahMesser  Год назад

      It is through xChecklist. It should automatically do it.

      @@MicahMesser That's odd, mine doesn't seem to tick them automaticity for the Zibo.

    Nice one, I do have a question however: why did you set the speed for that leg? It says that turbojets are subject to that limitation, while the 737 has turbofan engines.

    • @MicahMesser
      @MicahMesser  2 года назад +1

      Yes, they have Turbofans but when it references turbojets it means all jet aircraft. It's old language.

    When i try to connect my x pilot to x plane it just doesn’t work. It says waiting for x plane connection but I’m already on x plane so what do i do? I just can’t click on the connect button until it connects to x plane but it just bugged or something that it thinks that x plane isn’t open or something.

      Make sure in the setting of xPilot you have it pointed to the X-Plane 11 game directory. See this video to make sure it is installed correctly: ruclips.net/video/kW1bj4_mcxE/видео.html

    hello Micah! i have two questions, And the first one is what does the flood light do? becouse i dont see a difference when turning that up? and the second is: can you fly with fmc out of date? and if you cant see the sid for example could you ask for vectors?

    • @MicahMesser
      @MicahMesser  2 года назад

      1. The flood light is a light usually used at night to see non-illuminated text and areas of the panels. I usually keep it pretty low. In the daytime you will not be able to see a difference. 2. You can fly with FMC out of date. If you do not have a SID or STAR just inform ATC "Delta 123, I am unable to fly the SID (or STAR) due to faulty FMC data, could I receive vectors?" Unless you are flying in an extremely busy event, the ATC will have no problem giving you vectors. You may also have an older version of the SID or STAR, if you do, inform ATC what you have available and they will be able to advise if that will work or you will have to use Radar Vectors. ATC is there to help, not throw you under the bus and run you over!

    58:02 how did you know the trim? Is there any trim indicator?

    • @MicahMesser
      @MicahMesser  2 года назад

      First the FMC shows the trim, the wheel moves the mechanical trim and has a white line indicator to the right of the wheel that moves.
