They really missed the mark with this. They should have made the straps modular so the vest portion can be just a vest, and vice versa with the pack. For me at least, my vest contents doesnt change, so why would i want to wear what is a back pack on lighter days? The vest wouldve been best to buckle in over the shoulders or something. Being stuck to a full backpack is the only reason i wont buy it. Fishpond and patagonia make great versions but both of their vests are sub par compared to simms. Lames jebron.
