People turned on this show so quickly because of the Fietro reveal but WandaVision was never about expanding the universe or introducing mutants. It’s a brilliant exploration of grief and the character of Wanda Maximoff. Elizabeth Olsen is outstanding in this show, I don’t think any of the other Marvel shows will be able to top WandaVision for me. It’s a truly beautiful story. Great video!

@@dr.little7311 They are off to a great start at least. The best part about WandaVision is that I didn't originally expect to like it as much as I did. Now, after spending 8 weeks with the show I am in love. This series is close to my heart now alongside Daredevil. And yes Elizabeth Olsen is friggin brilliant, I didn't expect the performance she gives which is some of the most epic stuff I have ever seen. Paul Bettany was great too, especially since I saw Uncle Frank days before the series started airing , I went from crying while watching Paul Bettany to laughing while watching Paul Bettany, which is insane to me.

    Maladaptive Daydreaming represented magically.
She is grief stricken and dissociates herself from reality and creates her own reality where she is safe and her innermost desires are fulfilled.
Because she is the Scarlet Witch she can materialize her dreams and desires while us humans don’t have that luxury.

The strength and growth it took for a character who had lost her parents, been raised by an evil organisation through torture and experimentation, lost her brother, was forced to kill the man she loved, had him brought back and then killed again to then have to make the choice to let her dream family that she herself had created go again all so that she could heal and move on is unlike anything before it.

I lost a sister when I was 8 months old, I am 21 year old today and I'm aggresive as f*ck like 21 years later... Wanda lost a brother, her parents, vision, and her kids... it's not surprising that she turns out the way she did.

I'm glad there are others who feel the same about FAWS tbh, it has potential but feels like it focuses on doing too many different things at once. I think part of the reason why WandaVision is so good is because it focuses on one particular thing (Wanda's story) and does it really well. That and the obvious unique and interesting story-telling/concept.

Both are great shows. I do prefer WandaVision over The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, which is surprising considering I was More hyped for the latter when it was first announced. But both are the most mature stories the MCU has told till now. I don’t mind Wanda going mad because of the darkhold, but I wish we had been able to see the process of the darkhold corrupting her. At the end of wandavision, we leave Wanda in a place where she is healing, and I feel like a lot of that got undone in multiverse of madness

They both lost they people (Sokovia, Asgards), they both lost their parents, Wanda at a younger age, Thor older, the both lost there brother, but Loki almost always comes back, we know Pietro isn't coming back. Tho never knew his sister so I don't think that that hurt him as much. Wanda also lost he boyfriend, having to kill him, see him brought back and killed again, coming back seeing him dissected, and Natasha being gone, Steve being old. I think honestly Wanda lost more than Thor from this but if you got more stuff to ad go ahead. But Wanda also has a more unstable power and mind.

What lesson did this show teach about grief? If you are grieving use your super powers to enslave a whole town and mentally torture them? Oh but she decided it was bad at the end so thats okay.. she learned her lesson, except the last scene is literally her reading the biggest book of dark magic in Marvel canon, so she did not learn anything at all. Whats up with people wanting to make this show something that it is not? If you enjoyed it, thats awesome, but lets not b/s and try to make it more deep than it actually was, it was just another mindless super hero marvel movie with some cool throwbacks to better shows on the first few episodes.

The entire point of looking through the Darkhold was because she was trying to get her children back WITHOUT enslaving a town. It's opening a new can of worms that will be explored in the next Doctor Strange. Your whole comment reeks of missing the point, and trying to simplify a complex emotion/situation. I can take any story in existence, simplify it to its most basic form, and make it sound ridiculous, but that doesn't prove any kind of meaningful point.

Thanks for not saying "move on" at all in this video. There is healing, coping, and moving forward through grief. But you don't really "move on" when it's a prominent loss. It's something no one fully understands unless they've dealt with it themselves, but grief is a very unique emotion that never entirely leaves you. WandaVision handled it beautifully. And your analysis of it was perfect. We absolutely need more stories like this. So many people don't understand grief or know how to comfort others going through it. Shows like this help to normalize it. And that is SO important.

Vision (Hex Vision) was even stronger, and I don't mean in terms of power level. He willingly parted with even more than she did, not only losing his family, but his life. And he did so without hesitation.
