Thanks for the Hubspot run through. I am new to CRM's in general and I found this very informative and you were to the point on everything much appreciated! Great video!
Nice overview. I recently became a huge fan of the new tasks feature. It has queues now that save you several clicks and that makes it SUPER easy to create follow up tasks which are so crucial in nurturing.
Thanks! I saw the new feature and took a peek but hadn't experimented with it yet. I automated many of my followups via a drip campaign but that still needs a human look-in, so I think I will see if I can leverage the task queues for Zapier or not. Sounds like a new video coming if I can.
Thanks you very much for sharing this video. This is really helpful to me especially working with a new company that uses these type of CRM for Marketing.
While I love Hubspot simple interface, once you start comparing it with other free full featured CRM options, especially Bitrix24, it's clear that HubspotCRM is an attempt to generate leads for the Hubspot marketing automation platform. Bitrix24 gives you free lead capturing tools, quotes, invoices, client support via live chat or social media, sales funnel management, sales pipeline, reporting, project management, quotes, invoicing, etc. I think that you should do a video that compares most popular free CRM options out there (Bitrix24 vs Hubspot vs FreeCRM vs SuiteCRM, etc). Then people would get a really good understanding about pluses and minuses of each free CRM out there.
I haven't looked at Bitrix24 in a while so I will definitely go take another look. Of all the CRMs that I have used (quite a bit), I do currently like Hubspot CRM the most. You are correct about it being a lead generation engine for Hubspot, if you're using something for free, then you are the product :-) I do pay for their Sales Pro plug-in so that is one area of revenue for them, but ultimately they want to link you into their Marketing software (which is too expensive these days). Stay tuned, more videos coming on other products, I am doing one on SalesFlare currently and will check out Bitrix24 again. Thanks!

Hello, First of all I would like to apologize for not using the correct terminology. I have a question. I have a website and I would like to have my customers fill out some information such as; name, email, and a few more items. Then have that information show up on a google doc sheets so that I can contact them and get some type of email or something that lets me know when I have new information. Is this possible?
There are many way to do that, perhaps the easiest is to actually use Google Forms if you want a simple integration to Google Sheets for free. However, depending on your website there are many free to low cost ways to do this. If you are using Wordpress there are Gravity Forms plug-in, HubSpot even has a nice form builder in their free Marketing Tools product. As you grow in business you can even marketing automation platforms to collect the data and automatically send the email out so you don't have to. You might like the Tech Smart Boss podcast where we cover a lot of business process and technology topics, search any podcast player for "Tech Smart Boss" or you can listen on www.soundcloud.com/techsmartboss
Just wonderful, I been tryin to find out about "hubspot email" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Jenevi Digital Duppy - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my m8 got amazing results with it.
If you are referring to HubSpot CRM I would suggest you set up a different account for each. The marketing lite and some of the things in the Sales Pro like messenger will allow the code on different websites, but the intent is they are all part of the same brand/entity. For many of the features, especially if you upgrade to Sale Pro tools are tied to the email address, so things like the email address will be tied to a specific login and that could get expensive.
Not to use HubSpot CRM, it doesn't need to tie into a website at all. It is a SaaS app, so you would need internet access to communicate with HubSpot if that is what you mean.
thanks for the great video. I have a question: In the upper black menu bar, I can't find the "task" item. Is there a way to add this to the menu bar? Same with sales-tools, there is not "sales-toosl" in my menu bar. By the way, I use the free version of the CRM, thanks
As far as I know, there is no way to add or remove it, it's core functionality. I would say open a ticket with Hubspot Support and see what's going on. Perhaps try clearing your browser cache or trying a different browser before that in case there's something weird going on with your browser. Also make sure you are on the SALES and not Marketing. The first item in the header is a menu that lets you switch between them if you have both.
Hi, Thanks a million for the great intro. Small question though: How can I associate a contact with a logged meeting on company level? Since I work B2B, I consider the company itself as a lead, and want to track and log all activities on Company Level. But how can I add an existing contact of that company to a meeting log? Now it seems to me (forgive me, I'm a rookie) that only some general text about the meeting and the meeting date can be added? Thanks for your kind and extremely welcomed advice, Jan
Hi Jan, I use it for B2B as well. There is a setting to automatically link a contact's email domain to a business record. Turn that on, I'll do a video for that soon. And then I tell my reps that looking at the Company view is best, especially if you are dealing with multiple contacts. It consolidates all notes, meetings, tasks, deals, etc.
Hi TSB, thanks a lot for your extremely quick and useful respons. But still a question remains: I do have the link that automatically, based on the domain name, a contact is linked to it's associated company, but when I log a meeting with a contact via the contact-view, the meeting does show up in the company overview, but the contact's name is not mentioned. It just says "you had a meeting". Is there anyway to arrange that also the contact whom you had the meeting with, is shown in the company overview? Thanks for wanting to read until here ... ;-)
That sounds like it may be a bug. I would open up a ticket with Hubspot on that and see what they say, suspect they will point you to their ideas page to list that as a enhancement request. As a workaround you may have to manually add a note with the info you are looking for. Unfortunately the API integration with CRM and Zapier is not that robust yet to automatically create that note for you. I personally don't set my meetings up via Hubspot, I use Calendly which does have great Zapier integration so I don't run into the problem you are mentioning.
Hi TSB, I didn't explain correctly I think: I mean, I want to log a meeting (not integrated with calendar or so), like you can also log a call or an email. Just to log the fact that the meeting took place, where I can use the text box to write down some minutes of meeting, and that's it.
Ahh, from the contact, go to Log a Activity and then select Add a Meeting from the dropdown. See this screenshot. Is this what you meant? www.dropbox.com/s/k63fpfjdyyemzdq/youtubecomment.jpg?dl=0

I just watched your video about Hubspot "free" edition. Is the training included in the free version?
Anyone can sign into the HubSpot academy for their training for free, but it's pretty basic.
well done, thanks!
do you must have a website in order to use this apps?

Will add that to my list to do soon. Thanks for the request.
