I’ve never cried for anyone like I have for Phyllis. I’m sort of a recluse type person and stay to myself unless I’m reaching out to someone for the Lord. I never felt lonely, because when I watched Phyllis’ videos I felt like I was right there with her. She had a special talent of talking to her viewers as if she enjoyed every minute of the time she was with them. She’d say Y’all this or that and made everyone feel so special to be with her for that short video time. She and Mr. Bucky had so many hopes and dreams for their future. Knowing that they’re together and making each other happy really helps me. I’ve never been around a married couple that had such love and respect for each other. They just beamed with genuine love and happiness. I never had that in my life and I feel blessed to have seen that in Phyllis’ and Mr. Bucky. They’re gone but not forgotten. I think of them everyday.

I found your Mothers channel about 1and 1/2 years ago and just fell in love with Phyllis, Mr Buckey and the dogs! It shortly became one of my favorite channels, I have been just broken hearted as thousands of others have been also. I will keep watching and I will go back and we watch her older videos. I’m so heartbroken. I was afraid something was wrong when Renee said that you, instead of herself would be updating us on her condition. So sad, and sorry for your loss. I love Mrs Phyllis like she is my own flesh and blood. The first time I saw a video of hers, I was hooked. Her and Mr Bucky always made me happy and cracked me up. She is and will be missed forever. I feel like I lost a special aunt. Someone you could sit and talk to when you needed cheering up. I loved watching her cook. She had such an easy style. She was a special lady. God keep you and Mr Bucky in his arms.
My own family is all gone now. Phyllis & Mr. Bucky helped fill that void some for me. They felt like family inviting us into their home, sharing their opinions, plans, memories, laughs and lives with us. Even having us in their kitchen. The only thing that eases the sadness of her passing is knowing that Phyllis and Mr. Bucky and Renee are now happily reunited. What a reunion that must have been! I wish she could vlog about it.

Yes the world will be very different without Mrs. Stokes. OMG I am so sorry for your losses. Losing your mom and Bucky has been tough on all of us who have loved her so very much. I can't imagine how big the loss has to have been for your entire family. I kept coming back and checking the channel looking for her, waiting for her, praying for her daily. I believe that she would so love it for you to tell us stories of them both. I know how she made me feel and I felt like family. I will always miss her and treasure this channel that has been left behind. I use her recipes all the time. I know this had to have been a really rough RUclips video to make, and I can tell that you are your mother's son. My prayers will now be with you and the rest of your family. I have tears running down my face as I type this, I've been watching your mom's videos down here in New Zealand and became very attached to her darling ways, remarks and her lovely personality. Bless you all, I truly feel a great sense of loss but at least her suffering is over and her new journey begun. When I look at you and see the kindness in your eyes and the eloquent, modest way you spoke, I thought I am watching the best parts of who Phyllis was, represented in her son. I am not surprised to learn of your mom grilling the lawyer. Phyllis was always so precise and exacting and seemed to have a mind like a steel trap. I lost count of the number of tasks that people would pay a professional to do and Phyllis would explain how she learned to do it herself because she could. She was the best mix of intelligence and pragmatism. When I watched her videos she was entertaining but her encyclopedic knowledge that she shared also made Phyllis a teacher; the type of teacher that made you want to work extra hard to earn that A+. I appreciate the update about the dogs. They were an integral part of the family. You mother had what I would call a dry sense of humour; at least what she showed on RUclips. She did a series of Steely Talks videos that were so funny. I would re-watch them and they never got old. The timing of what she said always lined up perfectly with Steely's facial expressions and Sunny's antics. It was magic to watch. Then there was the banter between your mom and Bucky that left little doubt about the depth of their love and partnership. We will all shuffle off this mortal coil but it is so hard to say goodbye. There is something very beautiful about how humans, especially the ones that lay bare their true authentic selves, can touch the hearts of so many that they have never met in person; like your mom and Bucky, their presence becomes intransient and remains. Thank you for sharing.

Her food and her Kitchen reminds me of the summers I spent with my Grandparents in East Texas. My Grandmother was not biological related but no one would ever have known. My grandparents passed away when I was young, so I’ve never had a relationship with them. Phyllis felt like a grandmother I never had. I only just met Phyllis...moments ago in her lime jello and cream cheese frugal dessert...and the onion pie, which I haven't finished watching yet. Phyllis presented the most honest and direct youtube experience I've ever had. She knows now how grateful people are to have known her, and how grateful we all are to you and all the family for keeping her with us. You have some of your mother's facial expressions. I can see the resemblance. Your mother and Mr. Bucky were a highlight of my day. My own family is all gone now. Phyllis & Mr. Bucky helped fill that void some for me. They felt like family inviting us into their home, sharing their opinions, plans, memories, laughs and lives with us. Even having us in their kitchen. The only thing that eases the sadness of her passing is knowing that Phyllis and Mr. Bucky and Renee are now happily reunited. What a reunion that must have been! I wish she could vlog about it.

Yes the world will be very different without Mrs. Stokes. OMG I am so sorry for your losses. Losing your mom and Bucky has been tough on all of us who have loved her so very much. I can't imagine how big the loss has to have been for your entire family. I kept coming back and checking the channel looking for her, waiting for her, praying for her daily. I believe that she would so love it for you to tell us stories of them both. I know how she made me feel and I felt like family. I will always miss her and treasure this channel that has been left behind. I use her recipes all the time. I know this had to have been a really rough RUclips video to make, and I can tell that you are your mother's son. My prayers will now be with you and the rest of your family. And my hope will be that I will see her again one day. It's so great that you were able to find a place for Steely and Sonny. Bless you all, I truly feel a great sense of loss but at least her suffering is over and her new journey begun. When I look at you and see the kindness in your eyes and the eloquent, modest way you spoke, I thought I am watching the best parts of who Phyllis was, represented in her son. I am not surprised to learn of your mom grilling the lawyer. Phyllis was always so precise and exacting and seemed to have a mind like a steel trap. I lost count of the number of tasks that people would pay a professional to do and Phyllis would explain how she learned to do it herself because she could. She was the best mix of intelligence and pragmatism. When I watched her videos she was entertaining but her encyclopedic knowledge that she shared also made Phyllis a teacher; the type of teacher that made you want to work extra hard to earn that A+.
I appreciate the update about the dogs. They were an integral part of the family. You mother had what I would call a dry sense of humour; at least what she showed on RUclips. She did a series of Steely Talks videos that were so funny. I would re-watch them and they never got old. The timing of what she said always lined up perfectly with Steely's facial expressions and Sunny's antics. It was magic to watch. Then there was the banter between your mom and Bucky that left little doubt about the depth of their love and partnership.
We will all shuffle off this mortal coil but it is so hard to say goodbye. There is something very beautiful about how humans, especially the ones that lay bare their true authentic selves, can touch the hearts of so many that they have never met in person; like your mom and Bucky, their presence becomes intransient and remains.

Her food and her Kitchen reminds me of the summers I spent with my Grandparents in East Texas. My Grandmother was not biological related but no one would ever have known. My Grandmother was a wonder cook just like Phylis. My Grandmother has been gone a very long time I still miss her so much, I will Phylis too.

My grandparents passed away when I was young, so I’ve never had a relationship with them. Phyllis felt like a grandmother I never had. She was such a light in my life, and her videos always put a smile on my face. I could listen to her talk for hours. I’m so sorry for your loss, she was an incredible woman.

I only just met Phyllis...moments ago in her lime jello and cream cheese frugal dessert...and the onion pie, which I haven't finished watching yet. Phyllis presented the most honest and direct youtube experience I've ever had. She knows now how grateful people are to have known her, and how grateful we all are to you and all the family for keeping her with us. We hope (I feel safe in saying "we") that one or more of her children will take up her calling and keep her style and her channel cookin' large.
First of all, my condolences. I felt like I knew her personally. She was so calming and kind. You look and sound just like her. Thank you so much for allowing her channel to stay up. That would be so wonderful !

RIP Phyllis Stokes and thank you Steven. I found her recipe for Bread Pudding with Rum Sauce and started watching more until someone said she had passed away. What a sweet lady whom I have never met but feel like she was a friend. I am going to go through all the videos now, thank you for leaving them up. You all have my deepest condolences.
