A large surface parking lot between the housing developments and the station seems to be the key to a successful TOD neighborhood that encourages people to walk to the station ;-)
Yeah, definitely not ideal, but the whole neighborhood is within a 15 minute walk of the station and I believe there are some planned residential projects on land currently held by companies adjacent to the parking lot.....
@@themontrealguy471 the surface parking lots on prime real estate around TOD stations seems to be a REM thing... Given the real estate branch of CDPQ, I would have assumed that they'd develop it (and move the parking either underground or to designated park and ride stations outside the TODs)

Imo the station should have been located between Marcel-Laurin and Grenet
Yeah, it definitely should not be that far from Marcel-Laurin....I guess they did it to have more parking space

Feels like they wanna accommodate the rich people living in Bois franc
