From what I've seen from the REM Station diagram, it seems those old staircases are being kept but renovated and you'll have to walk along the outside of the fence until you reach the station entrance.

My guess is 2027 but it'll probably be delayed like the other branches...

they already announced that to open in 2027 early this year.. which most probably could be delayed further

The main use of this station would be for transfers to other branches of the REM and the future orange line extension, so I'm not sure there is a massive need for parking....

Yeah, I guess the opening date all comes down to when the Mount Royal tunnel is completed unfortunately.....

Pretty much all jobs and residences on the island are within a less than 10 minute bus ride or 20 minute bike ride from the station so I guess it was designed based off the popular transit modes of the area.

Heureusement, ça va devenir plus accessible lorsque le REM ouvrira.

I'm a bit more hopeful but I see why many are skeptical about the viability of a luxury mall in this economy...

True, although this applies to pretty much every large shopping mall. The main benefit of this one is the outside space and terrasses for me.

There are plans for 5000 housing units, hotels and office space but the Town of Mount Royal is blocking it....

Yeah, the mall has its problems but I truly believe it'll be a massive improvement to the region once fully complete...

What makes it bad ? I haven’t been but understand only 30 percent of the mall is actually open. The full launch is next spring.

Yeah, the only reason for the station there is that there was already a commuter rail station before this new one. Unfortunately, I'm not expecting any density at all to be built nearby..
