    Although I have only been to the Peak District once, I have seen a lot of videos from there but never seen this before. It did look an interesting place to visit and so much history there too. Cheers Alan

      Hi ya hope you are well 😀 yer this place was great to visit...we love it at the peak we have been 3 times this year alone...we might leave it a year before we go back 😊

    These old mines are quite fascinating to walk around. The stories of the people who worked there I'm sure have stories to tell.

    Golconda mine shaft is over to the East from that location.
    What you have been looking at are the remains of a WWII searchlight battery.

      We were right next to some sort of factory, it was abit annoying unfortunately 🙉

    Its the remains of a crushing plant for limestone from harborough rocks.

      Well that certainly would make more sense as it didn't look much like the other lead mines we'd been too.. thanks for the info 👍

    Hi. This isnt goloconda as that is about quarter of a mile away.

      Hi Scott, we got this information from several sites on the Internet which stated it was called Golconda including this one.. wikishire.co.uk/wiki/Harboro%27_Rocks
