Sent Derek my Series 7 watch to repair. Replied to my emails quickly and did a flawless job in replacing the screen on the watch. I’m very happy with the job. Thanks again Derek!
Derek is a best! My Apple Watch SE 2 screen cracked and after getting a few quotes from local shop in the Orlando area and watching several repair videos, I decided to send my watch to Derek to get it repaired. One of the videos that I watched was the one Dereck created pointing out all the mistakes other people do when repairing Apple Watches. Having Dereck repair my watch was a no brainer and it was worth it using his mail in repair service and waiting a few extra days to get the watch repaired correctly and professionally.
Another great video, Thanks for sharing FIXD! Question, I replaced the screen along with the display flex on an Apple Watch SE 2 and now the fitness tracking is not working. Steps are not being counted while the heartbeat measurement app doesn't work. I am assuming it's an issue with the gyro / accelerometer as the raising to the wrist feature doesn't turn on the display. I did go over the solder points again on the display flex where it connects to the motherboard with no success. Also tore it down to the motherboard and the connector to the back glass looks clean with no corrosion. Any ideas?
It might be an issue with the accelerometer failing in the logic board. If everything is connected properly and all joints look and test good then the only hope would be to try resetting the watch and see if via software it can fix it.
Hello, I've been watching you for a long time and I have a problem that I don't think you've shown. After replacing the glass, the touch screen does not want to work anymore. I've already tried several touch screens and still nothing. recently it worked for a while and then after disconnecting it, nothing again... please help
It could be a variety of things. One big thing might be the flex cables. They are more sensitive, the solder joints I should say, then most think and the joints might have popped. I’ve demonstrated how to replace them in videos. The other thing might be that the new screens have a newer update than the watch and if the watch can get updated then it will catch up to the new screens digitizer. Hard to know without trying the solutions though.
While dismantling the old screen, I removed the old force touch gasket and got a new one. However, I can't find the connection point for the gasket on my watch. All the guides and videos indicate that the Force Touch gasket should be connected in the top left corner, but my watch doesn't have a connector there. If someone can provide guidance on where exactly the Force Touch gasket connects on the Apple Watch Series 4 (2nd generation)? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for being willing to send it in for repair!
Great video. Is it possible to fix one or both of the grounding cables if they break?
Yes, they aren’t really cables they are more like a copper sticker with a black coating on one side.
