Such an underrated song! He's 16 and the first ESC artist to be younger than I am so I'm really hoping it'll qualify for the final. His voice is so unique and I really think they can elevate this song on stage. Good luck Greece!

An interesting fact is that victor is this years youngest competitor( only 16 years old) and he wrote this song when he was 14!!
By far my favourite and I can not understand why it is so underrated. The lyrics are like a beautiful poem and so relatable from being in high school. I am so glad I can vote in SF2!!
Greece is one of my favourites this year, for a 16 year old love the way his voice sounds, and the fact he wrote the song himself is great.
This song is what I’m always looking for in a ballad: EMOTIONAL IMPACT. This song almost made me cry with beautiful lyrics, deep/emotional vocals, and a beat that sinks into your chest. I love this song and hope it does well!! 🤞🤞🤞

Of course the lyrics are „very deep“. He is singing for Greece. 🇬🇷 Πάμε Ελλάδα. I’ve been listening to Greek pop music for the last ten years now. It’s called λαϊκά (La-i- ka in romanised letters) and oftentimes it brings me to tears just because of the beautiful lyrics or even just the sound of this beautiful language. I mean, what’s better than a language in which “apopse” means “tonight” or “ ta ftera mou” means “my wings”. Beautiful beautiful language!!! ❤

You know, I liked this song from the very firsts listen and saw a lot of reactions but you’re literally the first person who payed attention to the lyrics! Everyone says a lot about the quality of the song (which, I think is on point) and about how it’s not for Eurovision but none of them listened and tried to understand what this guy tried to say. This is very good even with the inaudible lyrics at times. It pulls me in and the several tempo changes keep me engaged without overstaying its welcome. Hope to see it in the top ten.

It's remarkable that he wrote this at 14 - very impressive effort.
I think this will get a few points from the UK in the semi final as this sort of song is popular here. The UK can't vote for Ireland either (it gave 12 points to Ireland in the semi last year) so this song seems like a likely beneficiary of that. With Cyprus participating in the same semi as this song, that will help take it over the line to qualify. I'm not sure it will equal Amanda Tenfjord's success last year but a top 15 finish is achievable I think.

At 14 he wrote it . Its the anxiety that so young people live in order to be able to do so many things together and perfect ... But its also the power of offering yourself when you can;t do many things for yourself ...

Hi, I am from Greece. I had to listen to it twice before I could understand all the lyrics. I hope this will be fixed because it would be unfortunate for the audience to not understand these beautiful lyrics.
I get that its not everyones cup of tea BUT the song in its "antieurovision" style will make a difference.. we must not forget that eurovision is about everyone not only the Fandom and what they think a song should be.. don't forget great examples like "oneiro mou" in 2018, with the studio version everyone in the Fandom was thinking that it would possibly win the semi and based on the live performance lacking almost everything, vocally and visually, got dq. Or even lasts year entry of Moldova where everyone "knew" the it was a sure dq, not only got through final but eventually got 239 points from the public. I m not comparing anyone or anything, I'm just saying that the hate towards this year Greek entry for not matching the taste of the Fandom is totally unnecessary and everyone will be judged on the stage.
the fandom has always underrated/ignored Greece's songs lately and focuses on troll songs like Serbia and Croatia. Last year we came freaking 8th and nobody talked about our song or hyped it the weeks and months before. On the contrary, they hyped Norway for example which came 10th

I am surprised because my English isn't as good as yours, but I can understand all the Greek words. And it's very strange to me how a native speaker can't understand Victor's supposed words in the song
i am very sad that this song did not pass the semi finals.. I blame the cameras, I blame the anxiety and all the greeks that did not believe at that song.

Well if an English-speaking person couldn’t understand the lyrics what can we (non-native speakers) say?! It’s a sad tendency in today’s music industry. No hate intended though, he’s a talented guy with a very distinctive voice!
I feel bad for the guy because he is very young and the song is getting overwhelmingly negative comments in Greece. It’s not hate, though. Nobody hates him, I’m sure he’s an adorable young man. Hope keeps only the positive out of this experience. Best of luck Victor in everything you do.
I totally agree Georgina: His voice is wonderful but the diction is bad. There might be songs where the words are not as essential as here, but in a slow calm song like this the lyrics are given so much space that the focus is automatically drawn to it.
It's good to know that even people whoes mother tongue is english are struggling to understand him, because usually I understand everything in English.

i think the song is interesting and has good ideas, the foundation is there but it lacks a little something. i can't appreciate it as much as i want to because the lyrics are really beautiful, i guess my problem is with the way it's been produced, but it's still good and it might have a decent scoring in the sf even though i have no faith it can go through.

The lyrics are great but the singing in cursive makes it really hard to understand.
Even as a British Born Cypriot, I didn’t like this entry at all personally. There’s nothing Greek about it in the slightest. That song called ‘Alcohol Is Free’ was a billion times better. For me the Portuguese entry was the best this year because it’s nice and ethnic! I could understand the lyrics as I’ve been studying Portuguese for a couple of years.

Very bad diction, great voice, song could have been something but its structure and production lets it completely down. Imagine this with a final big, explosive chorus.
Victor is talented tho, I know hes gonna perform the hell out of this. The thing is, whatever he does, the song will still lack a build up and a big moment.

@dk lv you feel like its gonna build, you hear drums and then it goes into slower tempo with clapping, its feels like a bridge instead of a big, final chorus and it is underwhelming.
Actually the whole world doesn't need to understand the lyrics. I doubt most viewers will fluently understand English. People will vote for the songs they like regardless of the lyrics.

I can't understand why the fact that he is young should somehow have a say on his performance. It's a song contest. End of story. I don't care if you send a 10 year old or a 60 year old. If the song is good you 'll be ok. But this song is flat. You have to listen to it 2-3 times to actually understand the structure. I' m a musician myself and this song LACKS scaling. It's just flat and a meh. This is not hate. It's actual criticism for a contest song.
