actually, they got their second win with feelin' like and their "first ever win at a music show" was with daisy : title track from their 10th mini album (WE:TH)

Not really a big deal. But if you're familiar with Korean music shows, you'll know that SBS!MTV's The Show (Where Pentagon won 1st with Daisy) is a cable program, not a public broadcasting station, and is not seen by most Kpop fans as legit since votes can be purchased by fans. So rather, the video should just say that "Feelin' Like" is Pentagon's first-ever win at a MAJOR public music show. I'm sure the members of Pentagon also know the difference and this win with "Feelin' Like" is more meaningful to them.

@danielkang7739 I completely understand that from Koreans and Korea's entertainment industry's pov Feelin' Like win is more notable. It was a relief for the members. However, Daisy's win was very meaningful to them too, as it was the culmination of their hard work. At least that's what their reactions (live and on Vlive) for both wins showed
I recently watched episode 2 of Boys Planet, and Hui was asked why he joined it. He said he could think of several reasons, but the one he mentioned was that when he got discharged from the military, he needed change and that things had changed a lot when he got back with the group. He said (and I quote) “It became hard for us to even work with who we wanted to. It was the first time we experienced so much rejection. I thought we’re no longer appealing enough to work with. It made me so sad. It felt like I couldn’t do much whether it be for my members or this situation. It was hard to overcome the invisible wall. The only option for me now is Boys Planet. That’s why I’m here.” I sad Hui was feeling that way, but I do think pentagon got more popular. I also feel bad for him because the judges on the show are very critical and told him that his dancing wasn’t that good. I was like “what?!? You’re telling me an idol who has already debuted and been with a group for 6 or so years and is experienced/talented isn’t a good dancer? How do you think he was able to continue with Pentagon for all this time?!?” From what I’ve seen, Hui is one of the best vocalists in kpop, and his dancing is good in my opinion. He doesn’t stand out at all (stand out in a bad way) with his dancing in Pentagon, and you’re saying he doesn’t have talent in dancing. Hui himself right then and there acknowledged that he didn’t think he was that good of a dancer either. He didn’t do well during one of the evaluation tests because of nerves. God I just want to hug him and tell him he’s doing good and he slays all the time 😢
Yeah the judges like so critical when judge his singing and dance, feel sorry for him
@@surayaishak6474 I discussed this with one of my friends who is also into kpop, and this is what she said, “At this point, I am starting to think that the negative feedback and everything are scripted and all for the show rating.” I really hope she is wrong about that but if it is true, that is just too cruel. I can’t be having Hui’s confidence plummet to rock bottom because of this show and freaking judges when and if he returns to PENTAGON. I have very mixed feelings about any survival show, but this one is hitting differently since I at least know someone on it and who has already debuted years ago.

Idk the real reason but I will surely vote for Hui, he the leader and for sure he just doing what is best for pentagon. If he will debut in Boyplanet in their new group that will definitely give more lights to Pentagon like what happen to NUEST back then.. publicity is important in kpop. Please support him

what I think they are trying to say is that he’s more skilled than the other guys on the show bc he’s older and he’s trained and also he has been in the industry longer

Gah Pentagon's story break my heart. I've never EVER seen a group with such consistent charisma and interesting music. They are full of talent and have never created something boring or bad. It's exhausting seeing people constantly overlook them for nothing.

We don’t know what is the main reason that Hui has to sacrifice. We can’t judge a person by it’s cover. Sometimes being a Leader is never easy , they need to sacrifice so many things in silent. Sometimes it’s very harsh on them.
(Boys Planet Episode 2 ) Hui said , He want to make changes 4 himself . So why don’t we all support him . Changes is very good and I am very Proud for Hui . Age is just a number, the passion that Hui have shine like a Diamond ❤.

I originally was not a fan of kpop however my sister was, she showed me boys planet after i saw clips of hot on tiktok, i came out watching the entire thing as a hui and pentagon stan, anyways, be careful yall, the rabbit hole is hard to leave, literally cannot stop streaming daisy 😞💜
My first thought was that he's doing it for promoting Pentagon (probably Cube forced him to do it), but I don't know. The only thing I know that I don't want to see him on a survival show, I want to see him in his group gaining more recognition 😭

What's wrong with his age? Yujin who is now the leader of kepler is the oldest also in all contestant. There's nothing wrong about that and he said that it became hard to work with his group after he got back from military, there's a lot of changes that even he make adjustments it can't be work so he decided to join the show. Lets just support him and believe me he'll be one of 9 contesant to be debut in boys planet just like yujin. He'll gonna be the leader too as he have already experienced and he's the oldest.
You know, the title of this is really crappy. He is STILL a Genius Idol Composer, who just happens to be on BP. Don't try and degrade him with your clickbait title. And Feelin' Like was their second win. Yes, on a broadcast show it was their first, but never overlook their masterpiece, Daisy, which was their actual first music show win! Hui has nothing to prove. He's not looking to be with another group. He'll be with Pentagon always and loves them with all of this heart. Need proof? Go watch "For You" from Breakers. And to bring up so many other past things (ya just had to bring up the 2018 stuff right? 🤦🏼♀) that have nothing to do with what's happening today, is ridiculous. The man is a whole package and is extremely talented. His personal intentions for being on BP are probably for Pentagon only. Other reasons may have to do with Cube and Mnet making deals, etc. Pentagon is doing well and will have a cb soon, of this I'm sure. Stop speculating and making it sound like this show he's doing, is something bad. I'm tired. But I will support and defend Hui and Pentagon until my last breath.

Yay, Hui. FIGHTING! A change can be good, you never know. He is MULTI-TALENTED. He doesn't have to be an excellent dancer or singer but rather well-rounded and good at everything. If he doesn't make it here, it's okay, JUST ALONE, HIS ONE TALENT as a songwriter & composer, he will definitely be successful somewhere!!
Pentagon had the worst timing, like Shine is probably the song make Pentagon become more recognized by people, but then Dawn quit (he was probably the most famous at that moment thanks to he become Shine's MC), and then Hui dating scandal, and then Yanan take a long rest (for his injuries)
At that moment, Hongseok, Kino and Hui really helped Pentagon's name still floating despite not really in a good shape whilst the other member also constantly upload cover or V-live.
But, then, Jinho (who constantly doing musical and cover) and Hui (who is IMO one of the strongest pillar for Pentagon) enlisted for military whilst Yanan still not active, at this moment, other member do try their best to stay floating, but apparently it was not enough.
Jinho came back but the damage of lack of recognition already made, and newer KPop group debuting one by one and many KPop scandals make Pentagon sinking even more.
He doing this not for the Pentagon's sake but also for himself, let's just support him as much as we can ^^

I love Hui ever since the Triple H he caught my heart....there is no rule that he can't redebute even in his 30', if we as a fans will still support him he can sucesfully lead another group .... also there could be more reasons, as Hui said, and we are not even aware of them
I just feel like Pentagon was always going to fall apart. Like come on, after Dawn left. Yanan has basically been on hiatus for 99% of their career (as an outsider, I don't get why CUBE doesn't just say that Yanan has left, when was the last time the group promoted as 9-???). If Hui left Pentagon, the band would go from 8 activate members to 7. CUBE just needs to announce that Yanan has no plans to return, remove his contract and announce that from now on, OT9 won't ever be possible. Like, I've tried researching Pentagon, but no-one talks about Yanan's eternal hiatus.
