As someone who's done some boxing (as a workout routine) and whose body type is close to Rick's, there's no way that punch would knock down someone with Thorne's muscle mass.
Perhaps like Delilah did to Sampson, Brooke has weakened Thorne's strength lol

Not Rick “Bad-tempered CJ shouldn’t be around My Son TM” man-handling his ex girlfriend and then cold-clocking his brother/mother’s BF. Yikes. Justin Torkildsen is usually mediocre for me as an actor, but he was very realistically menacing in this episode. Even though he’s so weedy and twerpy, I was truly disturbed watching him in the scenes with Kimberly. I 💯 believed he was capable of hitting her or worse then. Even his grabbing at her all was way out of line. She is his ex, she broke up with him outright, and he has no right to dictate to her or interrogate her. He treats women like he owns them (Amber, her) and it progressed from classist and patronizing in previous episodes to downright scary in this one. But kudos to the writers (I know!) because with all the dialogue and reactions we’ve seen from him and Bridget lately, I do feel as a viewer that I understand where this gross possessiveness and attempts to control are coming from.
Putting that darkness aside, there were two light moments in the episode for me:
1). Kimberly telling him outright she was going to ride Thorne like a stallion when she wouldn’t even let him cop a feel above of below the waist when they were together.
2). Rick and the aforementioned cold-clocking of Thorne- it honestly would have been more realistic if Rick stood up on a chair and tied Thorne up to hit him. Winsor Harmon is so muscular and tall and Justin Torkildsen is so weedy in comparison that the big hit was just ludicrous.
Great post! The pot calling the kettle bIack seems to be a running theme in this episode. And I absolutely agree about Rick - CJ has _never_ shown a side that has been quite as disturbing as what we've seen in Rick. (Also, let's not forget, Rick - who is worried about how CJ's anger issues will affect Little Eric - has _actually 🔫a man)._

For the Logan women supposed to be so "hot", they sure are insecure when it comes to men and their relationships. Must be the way they get the guys. Didn't like the way Rick grabbed Kimberly. Eric, always Brooke's cheerleader. I think Hope said some of these same lines in 2010 to Liam, the ones Brooke is saying to Thorne.
At long last, Brooke seems to be realising (at least temporarily) that she's not great Forrester marriage material. Why does Thorne want to marry her? That is, indeed, an excellent question.

I bet part of Rick's character synopsis is that he should add a good dosage of annoyance with everything he says and does. From the 1990's to the 2020's.

Stephanie is thrilled thinking her son Thorne could be really interested in Kimberly, a 19 year old virgin, a young women half of Thorne's age. I just wished Dylan would still be around to get to hear that as well. 😏
Since Stephanie seems all good with the big age gaps, what she should have done back in 1995 was move Dylan away from Jessica and get him looking in Brooke's direction🤭.

Oh yea, without a doubt she opened the curtain. It was shown clearly. That kid Bridgett is so messed up. First few years of her life she thought Ridge was her Dad before the truth came out. Then Ridge was her Dad until Taylor had Thomas, the rest is history.
