3:24 Actually this scene is not accurate and unrealistic. once fired bullet hits the water, it gets significantly slowed by water's resistance. It may penetrate upto 30cm, but not longer than that, even if it was shot by one of the most powerful sniper gun from 1m distance.

Good that they never shot the CO while they had the window. That just wouldn't have been sporting. And that's why, as the commander of the unit, you wear a beret instead of a helmet: To be easily identified, so you don't accidentally get shot by the enemy. Edit: Rendering first aid to wounded HVTs is also overrated.

In real life the sniper would take out the group commander first.
