I’m 35 and I’m about to start modeling. Going to buy my first model this weekend. Hopefully, I’ll get to this level of detail before I die of old age. I’m blown away by some of these people’s skills.
I started modeling at 30, so, you have enough time, 😀 and i wish you good luck and welcome👏🎉
35 here too, and I just bought this kit and a GT-R R35 to start again with this hobby after more than 20 years. Good luck!!!
I'm learning a lot from your videos, the detail is amazing! Thank you and keep em coming!

Scaleauto shop I’ve always been here lurking in the background following your excellent work. It’s where I first came across what you do. What’s next on your agenda for model work??
Next i plan to build aoshima‘s lb works gt-r ver.2 . It is like a combat style grey GT-R

One of the coolest touring cars of my childhood this alfa! Used to have the Tamyia RC one lol! What was up with the front of the bonnet and the boot you had to fill there? What is that your making.the harnesses from?
thanks for watching! at the bonnet and boot were sink mark. they should be filled with putty. Harness is just from thin wires.
Really great model build! I have watched it several times. I see you use filler/putty throughout the build. Which do you prefer?
thanks for viewing mate. today i use mostly tamiya grey putty and tamiya epoxy putty.
Hi ,Can You Pls Give Me The Name Of The Soundtrack In The Video Its Super ,I would Like To Know The Artist And Title Of The Track ,Would Be Greatfull , Hope You Reply 😉😉😉😉 Nice The Way You Build 👍👍👍👍. Greetz Pat
thanks mate, sorry i ve lost the track list, need to shazam 😄
Great build.
What is the trimmer type tool, long, with the round end, that you often use in removing seam lines?
hi, thanks ! can you give timecode, i did not understand which trimmer you mean. multitool?
Awesome build ! Also what type of cutter compass was that ?
thanks mate! this is DSPIAE circular cutter
Very nice, have this kit in the stash. Hope it comes out at least half as good as yours.
Question, how come you don't apply the decals over a gloss coat? Is it because you clear them anyway?
Once again, beautiful model.
thanks mate. I dont want to make double work with clearcoat. for me is okay to put one layer of clearcoat after decals
@@Scaleautoshop I may try it that way. Being and aircraft modeler most of the time, it's hard to break old habits
Great job and awesome skill! I'm about to start this build as well but I have a doubt; which red you used from ZeroPaints, the Alfa one?
thanks mate. it was zero paints bun not Alfa exactly. just random red that i had in my paint shelf.
Thanks for the answer mate 🙂. I was thinking as well to choose a different red because it seems to me that the Zero Alfa one is a bit too dark, perhaps more suitable for vintage cars.
hello
very nice model !!!
what tool do you use to scratch tires
Thanks man, i made it in 3d cad and printed :)
Just wondering if you are able to tell me where you find the miniature shrink wrap for the ECU wiring!? That’s pretty slick stuff! And it makes it MUCH easier to attach wiring to the electronics package!
Awesome build! Your attention to detail is over the top!
thank you man. these are 2mm schrinktubes from ebay.
@@Scaleautoshop thanks! I’m going to grab some for a Porsche I’m working on. The 2mm size is before shrinking, correct? What gauge, or diameter wiring are you using then? 0.3 mm or smaller to allow for more than 2 wires and then shrinking the shrink tube with heat?
Thank you again, and you have a great channel! And a new Sub!
2mm before shrinking. after heating it gets smaller in ca. 1/2 of size. I have diverse wires 0,3 0,5 mm. just try to find the right one.
@@Scaleautoshop thank you for the advice! I’m currently on eBay searching various sizes of wiring.
Hi! Very beautiful! Is possible to say the wheelbase of this model and the lenght? Thanks!
Hi, thanks a lot. The wheelbase ca. 106mm, lenght about 185mm
Wow. Im plaining to build it too, but I already know that it wont be as quality made as yours, simply just because of differences between your's and mine's equipment 😅😪. But again, excellent job.
i believe you can build it in top level mate 🚗👍
Please add more lighting to your next video
ok, good, i take it into account👍
Very nice job and video ! Thanks !
Just a question, what is the clearcot you use on your models ?
Thanks a lot
thanks mate. i use ZeroPaints 2K diamond clearcoat
@@Scaleautoshop OK, tanks for your answer.
I must buy a pack of this one. But i'm quite scared about using it and clean my airbrush ^^
what brand polishing compound and wax did you use?
i use zero paints and tamiya's polishing stuff
Great build. What's the name of the part at 15:09?
i think this is brake balance arm
5:55 Which electric grinder are you using?
this is no brand grinder that i buyed at aliexpress. the simpliest
May I know where you got the PE parts for this kit?
hi, i found them in the local web shop sidepod.de
Heilbronn
what is the name of the circle cutter
dspiae circle cutter :)
gostaria de adiquirir um qual seria o valor
i bought this kit for ca. 40€ in online shop
It could use some sound
i use 2x speed.. so the sounds will be strange
This build is beautiful. Do u use tamiya putty of milli putty also when you do brush painting with tamiya paints do you use thinner and retarder
What kind of buffing wheel do you use?
do you mean polishing pad ?
Yes what is that, sorry

Thank you! Sorry for the trouble lol
