I'm excited for the Flux Condenser travel channel where we can watch him do quality radio and amplifier restorations from exciting global locations! I wish you a speedy return to a low stress life, getting by those unpleasant life issues.
Thanks, Dave! Yes, I would love to be able to bring the channel overseas, and I may be able to in some small way. But in Turkey, there doesn’t seem to be much in the way to support it, and stocking even a small workspace there with the required equipment will be difficult. If I were in Russia, before, the war, it certainly would have been more feasible.
Hey man! I've been wondering where and how you been, seems you have a lot on your plate right now after reading the comments below as well. I really enjoy your content and your sense of humor, and hope you find a good balance in the future so we get more of your great videos! :) It sounds like you could write a book at the moment with things 'going on'. From the USA to Turkey, oh my goodness! Talk about a sea change. Look after No.1 and hope to see you soon. Cheers, Rick
Well. I believe that I speak for many when I say thank God that you're safe. Please stay safe and stay out of countries where simply being a US citizen gets you a death sentence right now. No, they're not gonna buy the "I'm just here to purchase some vacuum tubes" story :-)
It's great to know you're back! From the comments it seems you are living in interesting times. Whatever life throws your way, I wish you the very best.
Welcome home, Flux! The Heathkit amp is well and in a prominent place, thanks. Considering its history and quality PLUS the intriguing owner's story, it is is just increasing in value each day 😎 Here's hoping that you are being compensated well enough in Turkey to have more time when you return to do what you truly love - soldering, masterfully editing your content and sharing it with us once again. I look forward...
Uhh, ok. That didn’t clarify much. I assume that’s intentional because you are a very good communicator, lol. So, here’s a yes or no question. Does your itinerary relate to the ugliness going on in that part of the world?
@@FluxCondenser lol, yeah, I bet that was a full bus. Well, I hope you are safe there and look forward to more content, and info at some point. Be well.
Further, I can say that I’m in no way involved in some kind of political intrigue. That’s not what this is about. I think it’s ok to say at this point that last year my wife and I separated which led to me meeting another woman. Things are sensitive in the US due to the separation/divorce and sensitive in other countries due to the new relationship. In many ways the situation is rather interesting, but also banal. I’m just trying to be extra careful for now to protect everyone involved.
@@FluxCondenser well, you are a creative guy, that sounds like the foundation of a great spy novel even if there isn’t that sort of intrigue involved in yours! Lol. You are at Walden’s Pond, seems like a perfect place to write a novel.
Well I know you had to go get some tubes made in Ukraine or Russia, then that thing happened and I guess you got side tracked. I understand how you can live in Turkey as my wife and I just got back from Antalya and loved it! By the way I moved from the US to get away and now living happily in Eastern Europe. Keep us up to date if you can. Best wishes.
Gary, good to hear from you. Stay tuned for more updates and content. Working feverishly on it now. Tell me about your trip to Antalya. That’s where I’m living in Turkey myself.
@@FluxCondenser Hi Flux, our trip was fantastic. we went from Romania to Antalya last month to an all inclusive resort included flight, hotel, food and booze! we took some excursions around the city, mountain top, submarine ride etc. All was fantastic. We even thought it would be a place to live as you apparently did too. Hope you can continue with your extremely well made channel soon. Best regards!
Was the move to live somewhere that puts inflation into perspective? 🤡 Hi just found your fun channel. I’m also very into vintage HiFi. My hose was recently;flood effected and I’m trying to restore a damaged Marantz 240 power amp because of it. I’m looking for a Shafer Magnetic 440-1010-H Transformer as this one was invaded by maggots and rendered inoperable without a full rewind. If you can help please indicate how I can contact you before you leave for Turkey. Be Well 🌞
Huh. I assumed you were a US operative on a secret military mission, but it turns out you were just on a date. Best of luck! Is the move to Turkey permanent? Are you bringing all of your hi fi gear? Can you buy tons of vintage gear in Turkey for a few US dollars?
Welcome back my friend, to the show that never ends!
Not until the fat lady sings, MOD man. Wait, will that get me cancelled?

Yep life has a habit of getting in the way of lab work. Hope to see more soon.
Ayy its been a while, long time no see.

I know. I’m sorry for the obfuscation. Yes, it does relate to that in the sense that when I got to Russia I quickly relocated to Turkey.

Is it bigger than a bread box?
Size wasn’t the issue. At least I don’t think so. Hmm.

I’m guessing there is a girl involved. Lol
A girl? She’s not THAT much younger than me ;-)
