I love the story about your parents and their laughter. Pastor John you are so blessed to have parents like that! I wish I had one Godly person in my life growing up that actually knew the word of God and was able to teach it to me. I only had my beautiful beloved grandma who passed away when I was 16 and she grew up Catholic so she didn't know much of God's word but she did teach me what she knew. I grew up wanting to be a nun until my grandmother died of cancer and I watched her starve to death in front of my eyes helpless.
I just listened to a podcast with this same title. John piper but it started with some other guy speaking for a couple of minutes. The rest sounds the same. Anyway, I kept thinking this should be preached at every graduation. I’ve listened 3 times now and sent to several people. Now I’m ordering the book he recommended.
