Sarah, you had it right. "Your husband sat down next to you" -- that's perfectly correct. Btw, you should not doubt yourself. Your English is often correct, even when you're not sure. Thank you for another lovely episode.

I always say I’m a minimalist in everything but books and yarn. And I will never be a minimalist with these two. When we were in lockdown my stash served me very well. Normally when I want to cast on something I “buy” yarn in my stash. I love it like this.

Thank you for another lovely episode! these little daily treasures are so heartjumping! 🧡 … I thought, maybe your magic ball is going to be a scrappy bunny! If you ever knit your whole bunny family, a scrappy one would be perfect for you! 🎉

I don’t think I could change my husband’s perspective on my yarn collection. He complains daily and he has a point. I love your daily episodes. It’s wonderful to see you everyday. You are like a best friend who knits. I don’t have that in real life. Thank you for your upbeat personality and lovely attitude. ❤

You are so right not to trust the magic knot Sarah. I have a party trick where I snap everyone’s magic knot apart in just a few seconds usually.

We call the wall a chimney breast 😊🔥 It's very cold here in Scotland too. I'm wearing my Creabea Alder jumper today, and I thought that would only be for midwinter!

I like your idea of making a magic ball without the knots. I don’t trust the magic knot either, and so I never made a ball. I didn’t think to do it your way! I always have a hard time dithering over choosing the next colour, but with all the colours hidden inside, the choosing is already done and will be a nice surprise when I come to use it. 👍👍👍 Thank you! 🤎🤎🤎

Just found your video. Thank you so much. When you wind up your scraps, have you ever done the Russian join. If you connected the yarn pieces as you added them to the ball, you would have the frustration of weaving in all the ends when you were knitting with it. Loved your podcast Diane Boston USA

Hi Sarah, I don’t know what happened but I have to rejoin as a member in 10 days because I clicked on something in error, but I want to stay a member so I will join again then, just wanted to say, your videos make me so happy, I work full time in childrens mental health and I am more and more wanting to retire because I just want to knit and crochet all the time 😂but my husband says I have to wait until I’m 60! So only another 7 years! Then I will knit 24 hours a day I think x

Thank you Sarah! Lovely tea time. Your husband was sitting g next to you or joining you works too🥰. I needed that direction from Inga, too, to influence the ‘never too much ‘yarn ! do you buy 12 or 24- count advent calendars. I am about to jump whole body into Advent calendars and purchase my first. So many beautiful ones to choose from. Do you look for a color theme? Thank you again for your dailies- I so look forward to them and they brighten my days!

Ive been told that the " rule of thumb" is that the length of a scarf/shawl should be the height of intended wearer.
Seems to make sense. After all a 150 cm one could look out of proportion on a 185 cm individual

I did think you were casting on toe up scrappy socks, but the loops were casting on forever, so i knew it couldn't be that. Loving your podcasts, Sarah, i look forward to them every day - and the chimney wall in your bedroom is called the 'chimney breast'. I don't know how it got that name, but I would like to find out😂 xxx

Since you are still keen to perfect your English, the following: Sjaal is spelled with a " Jay" not a " Gee" . If you thought Chimney Channel sounded funny, what about the English chimney breast (inside part) that leads to chimney stack (outside part). Psychologically fascinating how you compare a yarn stash to a bank account. I wonder what your (more practical?) husband has to say to that!. Very funny!
