The glass artifacts are a really cool addition. I wasn't sure how to approach them as you can't seem to deactivate them with bolts, however, you are supposed to walk through them slowly to avoid being cut. There are some areas that use a combination of the glass anomalies and the vortex, if you're not careful, the vortex will pull you straight through the glass anomalies both cutting you from the glass anomaly and crushing you with the vortex.
@@joeylliso8162 wierd bolt is bugged apparently. I spent 4 hours trying to get it to spawn in the tornado. No luck. Same with the wierd lights anamoly artifact. Not spawning. The wierd nut spawned in for me though. And the blue poppy also spawned in for me.
on every emission (!) ALL artifact spots SHOULD contain new artifact (ideally, I didnt confirm). Artifacts you get are a bit random BUT seems depend on game progress (u wont get legendary ones early)
The glass shard anomaly became my nemesis. The others I can notice and avoid but with the glass shard one I have this uncanny ability of running into them full speed before noticing it, especially at night. When I am just hiking slowly thats alright but I somehow always manage to find this anomaly when I am doing a sprint or my attention is somewhere else so I do not see the shards. Also I don't know if this is an universal experience or just me but... the Fleshes in my playthrough are on a mission! They turned out to be the most agressive mutants so far! Sure, Bloodsuckers are a nightmare to find but I ran into them relatively rarely. Dogs are not too frequent either. Boars are nothing to write poems about. But the damn Flesh herds are hellbent on destroying all life!
@@comradeandrei I know but thats not the issue with them, lol. Its that I always find them while sprinting at full speed and spotting them too late. Usually at night.
Great game but needs a little TLC. Given the development challenges they had I think they did a great job. It’s got good bones! Excited to see what improvements they bring. It’s like Metro and Fallout had a baby. Available on Xbox Gamepass and there are some Steam coupons around the internet too. Asus just did a promo.
I know early on I had 3 arts with radio protection along with red suit with like 3 radio protection. This allows me to put a maximum radiation +max endurance artifact. Which is like double stamina which is amazing.
Hi LastKnownMeal, thanks for posting & explaining artefacts and ways of collecting them. Please advise if you know whether improved artefact detectors become available as the storyline evolves. Regards JB
Does anyone know how to avoid the flashbang anamoly. Its super strong. Takes nearly all my hp and sometimes it spawns like 2 or 3 of them infront of me. One of the most fustrating anamoly to deal with imo
@LastKnownMeal tried that but In some area it spawns multiple of them at the same time. And even turning away and backing up can still get me hit by it. Sometimes there's 1 or 2 In front and 1 behind at the same time. The best advice I saw was zigzag pattern sprint which kinda works. But when stamina runs out your still screwed. Also I heard throwing bolts baits the flashbang at the location the bolt lands. I tried spamming throwing bolts far away to avoid the flashbang which kinda works but you still get 1 or 2 that spawn infront of you every 10 or 15 seconds. Wish there was a fool proof method to avoid the damage. On console it's really tricky to avoid by turning away and backing up, especially when there's 3 or so happening at the same time. Sometimes infront aswell as behind
This game sux donkey balls, it's like they took the first stalker game and re-skined it put it in the cheapest voice actor's they could find and then pushed it out , don't take my word PLAY WITH THE FIRST STALKER AND ITS LIGHT YEARS AHEAD OF THIS STALKER 2
You’re a clown. You realize there’s a war in Ukraine where they made this game right? Lmfao stalker 1 is trash compared to this and just wait for more mods to come out🤷♂️
@@Dale-jr7oj What does the war in Ukraine have to do with anything? I really liked the original ones but it seems like I've grown out of it and my preferences have shifted towards good and more refined and "flowy" Gameplay. Stalker 2 feels sadly very antiquated. It's basically a remake of the original, that feels like a remaster without any enhancements but some visual ones. The Gameplay is extremely annoying, unfair and no fun. There is no innovation overall and nothing seems really enhanced or further developed. I would have expected more features, like dynamic reactions and animations and tighter feedback in the shooting mechanic. I mean, the shooting feels like from a retro fps from the 2000s. You unload a full mag into an enemy and they just sprint around uninterrupted like nothing happened. Wolfenstein 3D from the 90s had more feedback than this. Bloodsuckers spawning behind you, spongy enemies respawning endlessly, no applicable strategies as Gameplay elements, extremely dark graphics, worse weather system than before, no extended rpg elements for individualized builds etc. I really want the studio to have success but this is just a partial visual overhaul with horrible, clunky Gameplay underneath it all. It's just no fun and everything feels like a chore.
yawn, you sound like a karen whos never played a stalker before, your complaints are basically a copy past of the patch notes lol. the games so much fun, the only people crying are those who keep dying to blood stalkers. sucks to suck mate.
@@seanowens3153 No, more like Subnautica you know? In essence Stalker and Subnautica aren't that different, both are about atmosphere, immersion, alien landscapes, wonder, exploration, contrast between beauty and hostile environment, slow pacing, doing things in your own rhythm etc.

additionally, the glass anomaly shreds bullets. I haven't been able to use them as cover yet but I try to keep it in mind
The glass anomaly is easy to avoid. You just crouch walk through them and you take 0 bleed and 0 damage as long as you havnt already sprinted into it.

Artifact hunting has always been my favorite thing to do
It would be great if you could do a guide on hunting for specific artifacts and which anomalies to look in

You get a good one(maybe the best?) on the 3rd island, it's a short side mission given by a scientist.
What part of Garbage did you find that liquid rock at?
I show it in the video in pda, it's in Garbage, location is Poisonus Hole
Huh??? We don’t do numerical values anymore for buffs/debuffs???
I hope they sort the stick drift out soon as 😂 does my head in plus I’m getting used of playing with it and that’s really not good 😂😂
