Recorded on March 17th 2022 (Yes, this is old. It was originally going to be a segment for the April Fools' 2022 video. Then it was going to be the AF video for 2023. And now here we are. Merry Christmas.)

I like how both games live up to their names. In Jailbreak, most of the gameplay is out of jail since criminals break out of jail. In prison life, most of the gameplay is in the prison.

About the "Illegal killings" in this game, it's not very intuitive, but luckily it's pretty simple to learn. If a prisoner has a gun or punched, then u can shoot them. If a prisoner entered a restricted area, you can arrest them. That's why you can't arrest armed prisoners in the lobby or kill them in the armory (unless they picked up a gun).
Still that sucks, you need to wait 10 secs berore arresting, what if theres like 5 prisoners got in?that is pretty annoying
Also if i cant shoot them instantly when they enter they can get weapons and start killing the cop team still garbage system

It's so sad to see that the old games are now just overtaken by hackers when i made so many memories playing it with my friends.

Who tf uses shift lock instead of being able to run? 💀💀
What I notice is that
Shift Lock - Aim is easier to control usually better as a guard thing and targeting one by one targets
Run - Speed to not get arrested and more useful when dealing with multiple targets usually better for prisoner or criminal team
Games use the shift key for running so when shift lock is enabled youll be running with shift lock on
@@12yr in my opinion shift lock in this game sucks in every way cuz you literally can just point and click instead of moving the entirety of your screen just to fire at them
@@reeldurn1834 I see your point too, especially if done right on mobile, touch screen in wack-a-mole situations have a crazy advantage it’s like a exploit when done correctly
It's honestly easier since you have more direction of where you are aiming, vs a sensitive and small mouse cursur
Your content + editing makes this game looks 100% more enjoyable than it is most the time lol

prison life nowadays, its more like a bunch of middle schoolers in two factions (or maybe three, if the criminals are feeling generous) fighting one another instead of a normal prison

It’s funny to see you get warning repeatedly, here’s a tip for you if you are gonna play the game (which you probably wouldn’t) again:
1. you can cuff prisoners basically in the guards area all the time and the areas they’re trying to escape, some areas needs to be closed down first before you can cuff them.
2. Use the your weapon for enemies that has a weapon, a hammer, or used fist.
3. Taser is needed in everything you come across (besides fist), trust me you’ll need it.
4. The game allows you to reload even without your gun equipped, take advantage of this and switch to your pistol (If you got the swat game pass even better or you’ve went to the criminals spawn and got an AK over there).
5. DO NOT AND I MEAN NOT JUST CAMP AT THE GUARDS ENTRANCE TO LET PRISONERS IN, that’s just stupid in general and sometimes they’ll reach the armory.
6. There’s a glitch where if you cuff prisoners at the armory right next to the guns, when they are cuff and next to the weapons they’ll spam to grab it, if that’s the case just kill them in general.
7. Take advantage of your surroundings, like the sweat at the cafeteria spamming the space button and where there was a lot of prisoners there, use the prisoners as cover and try not to kill them. I think you already get the gist of it.
8. Criminals can kill you as a prisoner…yep.
9. Depending on the hackers you come across, they can be straight up annoying or just people who just wanna do some weird stuff like that dude who literally shoved an entire car though the doors lol.
10. If you got the game pass (which I highly don’t recommend considering how bad the game is with hackers) use the swat weapon and the AK, it’s like having an 60 round weapon and maybe infinite if you followed rule 4.
That being said, have fun being annoyed at Prison life, was a once good game now filled with hackers
as someone whos been playing prison life ever since 2017, i can agree that hackers dominate most servers, but if you played in earlier versions before the update every sever would have had at most 5 hackers at the least 1

Prison Life is one of my favorite games to go back to. I remember playing with fellow criminals, going to the outter wall bordering the yard and clapping the guards who dare set foot in the yard, sometimes also killing the prisoners because we have zero honor for PEASANTS... or at least I figure that's why we did that.

Finally… After 3 MONTHS!, the king returns..
After seeing this, I did something a little unconventional at the time.
Normally, what I did if a hacker ever abuses his power and kills all of the server over... and over again.
There's a little thing with the armor purchase that regains your hp to full every time. And should you click it again, it adds a 2nd time.
Eventually, if you click fast enough and a lot of times, the server lags more enough than the hackers and eventually it will cause their game to crash.

Casual prison life expirence. I remember I joined the old OG prison life before the update and it was entirely purple. Like bright neon purple. Like a hacker took over the server and turned it purple. Everyone was gathered in a little purple box.

I have some good tips, the illegal killings are only for people who have punched, or if they have ranged or melee weapons. Also if you hold shift you can run quickly. But only criminals can be arrested everywhere, inmates can only be arrested in illegal areas like the armory or cells when its lunch or yard time. But yeah basically arrest people who dont have weapons, arrest criminals, kill inmates with weapons and check outside for people with melee weapons.

Prison Life misconceptions:
You are only allowed to legally kill if the person Has A Weapon OR is a Criminal. In order to get players out of “Guard Only” zones, you’re meant to arrest them, which has a cool down on it to be balanced.
You do not get punished if you don’t get the killing blow on an innocent player, so some people invented, and I quote:
“Edge-O-Clock!”
And bring all players down to 10 HP but not dead.
If you toggle off shift-lock, you’re actually able to sprint by
holding Shift! This is very handy.
Lastly, there’s no cool down on the pistol, so if you have a broken finger-I mean fast hand you can fire quite quickly.
Wow. I haven't touched nor seen this game in quite some time. This is nostalgic.
