I'm amazed how many people come on here claiming these pics are AI or from the 50's when they are clearly from the 80's. Most people here weren't even around then. I was, and I can tell you that the 80's indeed looked like this. Things were built to last, and everything still had some style to them. Many people then drove 40's and 50's cars. Some people could still smoke inside grocery stores. Damn. I'M OLD. 🤦♂️ The late 90's was when planned oblesence and the crap everywhere. began. You can bring back the stuff, but the 80's were a feeling, and nothing can replace that.
they're from the past (some of these pictures aren't from the 80s, the cars are a dead giveaway) but Pinterest is a good source for nostalgic pictures... I use it somewhat regularly and I have definitely recognized pics that show up in these videos
I understand that the music has a nostaglic feeling to them. But don't put a date in the 1980's when the pictures are from the 1950's. lol Still like the vibe though.
but that's what we did in the 80s! We got nostalgic about the 50s. Being nostalgic about the 50s and 60s is as 80s as it gets! It's a never ending cycle
From what I could find, all the images in the video were from the 80s. A lot of people at that time used cars from the 50s, as it was cool at the time (and still is to this day).
@@PhilTeoliI was a kid in the 80's, and I can tell you for certain many people drove cars from the 40's and 50's back then. My dad and grandparents certainly did. Back then, things were built to last. Not the planned oblecense like we have today where EVERYTHING breaks down in 2 years.
Mcdowell's is from the film Coming to America (1988) with Eddie Murphy. One of the most classic films of all time. No AI! I only use AI sometimes on images to restore or improve quality!

@amira8676 Aw thanks🙏🏻
They're also AI generated. At least some of them are anyway.
Most look A.I. generated to me.
I found them on Pinterest but they are real photos from the 80s!
McDowells 🤣

@ ok I give it to you but most people that will listen to this will think about the 80’s and not the 50’s.
From what I could find, all the images in the video were from the 80s. A lot of people at that time used cars from the 50s, as it was cool at the time (and still is to this day).
@ must have been different where I live cause it was not that way. But thanks for the explanation

Umm why does it say Mcdowells and not McDonald’s, I’m now starting to think that he’s using ai for his videos
It’s from Coming to America
They always have used A.I. for their background images. I was going to jokingly say it's the Mandela effect and it's always been Mcdowells.
