I'm Italian, I studied a little French and I taught Latin for 40 years, so I don't have many problems with words that come from Italian, French or Latin. But the pronunciation of "colonel" really surprised me and also the meaning in English of "epitome", which for us means "compendium" or "summary".
I do remember when i struggled to pronounce the word comfortable 😅 while i felt so comfortable to learn from My 🍯.. I love him and his patience.. His kindness.. I just love the angel who he is ❤❤

as a un-native speaker, your channel help me to undestanding english. Let me introduce my self I'm anisa and i from Indonesia with javanese sub etnic. Totally agree, english is not our mandatory language. In daily conversation, we also use javanese languange (you could see in youtube, how javanese languange) and then secondary is Indonesia languange. So, when we use english? NEVER. Ya, we never use english practically but in the school, there is subject about english. It is created some distraction me to learn english. But after i found your channel, i'm glad that you teach english carefully. I wanna work in overseas so i have a work hard to learn english. Thank you for your channel. Please keep a spirit, i always waiting for the next video. And i'm sorry if i had mistakes in my sentences. I'm afraid if i do a mistake with grammar pattern.

Some of them I never heard yet in english, although I use them in my own language so it was absolutely new word, some of them I know well with nice pronunciation, and some of them are sounds with my special accent different way because they are the same in both language and I can't change on it now.
