We all grow up with various dreams, to be astronauts and explore the wide space, or to be a doctor or a teacher, or a renowned playback singer like Dinker himself. He himself grew up wanting to be a cricketer and then many, many other things only to later realize that he simply, truly enjoyed singing.
From a post graduate in Pharmacy to his life as a vocalist today, he humbly shares his belief to stay practical yet passionate. He highlighted how time has changed over the generations and so did our methods to achieve our dreams. He advised that no matter what we wanna achieve in life, being educated is of prime importance and that the base to any career is education only.
Dinker Kalvala is an Indian playback singer who has lent his voice to over a hundred Telugu songs in a career just spanning over seven years. A skill he honed for nearly two decades before taking it up as a career.
Dinker had made a brilliant debut, winning laurels for his melodies, including the Radio Mirchi and the BIG FM awards in the Best Upcoming Male Singer category.
In 2014, he gave life to an ingenious idea for an online series where songs from different national languages were blended together with the use of minimal external props. Thus, Jam Room was born. He became one of the lead vocalists for the classical fusion band, Capricio, which incorporates music from different genres into a scintillating euphony.
In his latest contribution, he gifted his audience with ‘Naminchi’ from Krish’s biographical drama “N.T.R. Kathanayakudu” (2019), based on the life of legendary actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.
